Sunday Relaxation

Hello everyone!  A very warm welcome to you all!

I saw this great link and wanted to share it with you all.  The Science of Stress

The videos I have selected for this post are:

A Just for Laughs Gag/Juste pour Rire

Flowers and Insects - Pure Nature Sounds

Wellness - Crystal Waters (Relaxing Spa Sounds)

Headache Relief with Pressure Points

This last video is a 40 minute one, so I recommend, for those interested, to listen to this an hour or so before going to bed.  I found it very relaxing and soothing, which is why I decided to include it in this post.  Normally I post videos that are no more than 4 minutes in length, but I think this is amazing and definitely worth sharing!

Music for Stress, Anxiety, Relaxation, Depression
Isochronic Tones for Deep Relaxation and Tranquility

For the following, I am providing the link sources beneath each photo.  You just need to click on the images to see a larger view.

Rise above it!  Negativity, doubt, fear, indifference, criticism, lying, insults, gossip, envy, judgement, insecurity.

Breathe in beauty, exhale gratitude.

Two feet move your body...four paws move your soul.

Take what was meant to defeat you and let it fuel you!

When you let go of the desire to control everything, for a moment, you then really acquire control, because in that priceless moment, you experience a changeless peace, not dependent on any external conditions.

With a courageous heart, being positive day by day will, without a doubt, overcome negativity.

Live happily.  Love generously.  Laugh daily.

When someone says, "I don't want to burst your bubble, but..." it means they are about to try! People can have their negative opinions, but it's up to you if you let them bring you down.

Thank you all so much for visiting me here!  I always appreciate and enjoy reading your kind thoughts, which you are always welcome to share.

  3. I'll have to listen to the tranquil music before I go to bed. I also think we can learn a lot from "letting go of the desire to control everything..."

  25. You are so right about stress being very bad for us physically as well as mentally. The science is very interesting and totally backs up my theories about it.

I have bookmarked the 40minute video, that is just wonderful to listen to and very soothing.

  30. "The Science of Stress"...fabulous...really opened my eyes. Thank you so much for that. I know from bitter experience how bad stress can be for my body, as well as my mind.
Wouldn't it be great if children could be taught to deal more resourcefully with stress at a young age in school?
Would prevent so many illnesses later in their lives.

    Another truly amazing post, Linda.
Thank you so much for being such an inspiration to us all!

    Have a Wonderful Day!

    Love & Hugs xoxoxo

  31. "...to love as unconditionally as a dog." They are amazing in their ability to love and forgive. We could learn from them.
