I remember a soft drink from days gone by called Lime Rickey. I suppose it was similar to 7 Up, but had more of a lime punch to it. Sadly, like many great things from back then, it disappeared off the store shelves.Lindahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12692170857496442623noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-19531357.post-83465486536894177782012-03-05T12:40:46.698-05:002012-03-05T12:40:46.698-05:00Old vending machines (and cars, and many other thi...Old vending machines (and cars, and many other things!) were so much more beautiful than modern ones..

I grew up in Finland, and my favourite bottled drink was Omena Limonadi (direct translation: apple lemonade). At the time, it was only available in Eastern Finland (where they originally came up with it), so my grandparents who lived there, would often buy me some when I was there, and they'd even bring me some when they visited us in Helsinki! (We'd bring some back to Helsinki as well, when we visited them..) Nowadays, you can get it anywhere in Finland. Another favorite was orange Crush. We didn't get pop too much when I was little. It was too expensive. We always collected and cashed in the pop bottles for our candy money. Now I drink Diet Coke the way others drink coffee or hot tea. Thanks for the memories.Jane Rieshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13598983844438393426noreply@blogger.com
