Also, there's a coffee shop near where I live, where the black pudding (in their full Irish breakfast) always gives me a strong wave of childhood memories. It's funny, because I grew up in Finland, and there's no black pudding in Finland, but there's just something in it that triggers the memories! =D

There are some songs as well, which work as memory triggers for me. For example, Carry Me Home (by Gloworm).. I remember a particular moment when I was listening to it in my early twenties, and I just had a feeling that whenever I'd hear that song again, I'd remember that moment.. And I do. It was nearly 20 years ago, but listening to the song brings such a clear memory that I can almost touch it.. There was nothing special in that moment, it was just a peaceful moment at home alone, but it's still a nice little time warp..Stellohttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04981603232607622128noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-19531357.post-56737275321509292602012-03-03T12:17:34.596-05:002012-03-03T12:17:34.596-05:00Wow, I had forgotten all about the Rive Gauche, Ja...Wow, I had forgotten all about the Rive Gauche, Jane! Thanks for your comment! I remember Love's fragrances well. I loved the Ocean one as well as the Lemon and Baby Soft.Lindahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12692170857496442623noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-19531357.post-45337503466395255952012-03-03T11:13:33.981-05:002012-03-03T11:13:33.981-05:00For me it's Rive Gauche that Mom wore. The front porch reminds me of slower paced times when people actually sat on porches just to visit. Thanks for bringing up these memories.Jane Rieshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13598983844438393426noreply@blogger.com
