ReplyDeleteLie(f)s.
Thanks for sharing your list of wonderful TV shows which have left an indelible impact in your mind !
ReplyDeleteYou watched a lot of the same shows I watched when I was a kid. We have a TV station here in SoCal called "Antenna TV" and they still show a lot of the old TV shows..."Dragnet", "Adam-12", "Father Knows Best", Leave It To Beaver", etc. My late husband's all time favorite was "The Andy Griffith Show". He never missed it.
ReplyDeleteAs a tiny kid, I LOVED Father Knows Best! My friend Bobbi has been to Mt. Airy twice. Some of my faves are really old. Ozzie and Harriet, Our Miss Brooks, Outer Limits, Twilight Zone. i was in love with The Beverly Hillbillies and Andy Griffith.
ReplyDeleteYes, I definitely agree that there aren't as many good shows now days that are like those good classic shows. I really like Father knows best and Bewitched. I like Bud in Father Knows Best- he is hilarious!! Great post!!
ReplyDeleteI used to watch Bewitched, it was a "magical" program.
ReplyDeleteWith a twitch of the nose Samantha, ==
ReplyDeleteThe classical Tv is the best , i remember watching bewitched too, but the others not really. Thanks for the nice post
ReplyDeleteYou picked out some pretty special classic television shows. I have never been one to watch much t.v., but I liked to watch all of these that you have highlighted.
ReplyDeleteThank you all so much for your comments!
ReplyDeleteI remember each of these shows very well -- and very fondly. I have been through Mt. Airy, North Carolina, several times. It's much bigger than the TV Mayberry, but it still is a very nice town.
