Geese are Beautiful Birds

Hello everyone!  The video I have chosen for this post is a short, one minute video of geese...surfing.  Yes, you read correctly, surfing geese!  Enjoy!

The photo I am sharing today is one that I took on my nature park visit last week!  A beautiful goose who didn't mind my taking her photo.  :)  You just need to click on the image to see a larger view.

    That video is a riot. At first I wondered if they were caught in the current, but watching as the ride the waves, I think they're having great fun.

    We have a bunch of Canadian geese at Stone Creek. And they're very friendly ... they're also very messy! :)

    There's a duck dive and a turtle roll in surfing, I guess this could be a new term, 'Goose Gliding'
