I really like those quotes Linda!
ReplyDeleteI hope you have a wonderful day!
lovely video; pretty flowers. God must like yellow; He seems to have made a lot of it.
ReplyDeleteI really love the green and yellow in your pictures! How unique! Our rain finally took a bit of a break so we intend to get out and walk...oh my I can feel it already!

what a great quote about the path to attaining calm. i have to remind myself of this constantly. it's so easy for me to become distracted by petty things...
ReplyDeleteYour video and your flowers..., relaxing on a Saturday evening.
ReplyDeleteNice weekend, Linda !
Lie(f)s.
These leaves are unusual, and I don't know what they are...
ReplyDeleteNice video and photos.
ReplyDeleteI think that's greater celandine...it was invasive in my garden in France and the yellow liquid stained your hands when you pulled it up without wearing gloves.
ReplyDeleteIt's toxic, I believe, if you ingest it but on a neighbour's instructions I made an ointment with the liquid and beeswax which proved to be very good for excema.
Dearest Linda,
ReplyDeleteI'm your newest follower.
Montréal, Québec... We loved your area and still our friends live near Montréal. One day we must visit again!
Sorry to read about your osteoarthritis problems. Life can be challenging at times. It is only a little over three years ago that I myself became almost totally paralyzed because of a rare auto immune disease and polymyalgia rheumatica. The Predisone that I had to take for nearly two years has now caused chronic kidney disease stage II. My Mom is on dialysis and this condition did scare me. But life goes on and like you wrote, taking one day at a time and above all being positive! It did get me really down mid November when my blood work showed the very same levels as when I became paralyzed. You get over it but it's like the sword of Damocles, always hanging above your head and you never know when it will strike again. At the moment I'm feeling well so I'm grateful for what I'm able to do!
Thanks for your visit and comment about our smaller office space.
Hugs and happy weekend!
Mariette
PS I will Subscribe by email so if you like to reply here; that will send an email directly to me.

Dearest Linda,
Thanks for visiting from Montréal, Québec in Canada!
Yes, I am very pleased with how my office looks right now. Less clutter too as I am trying hard to digitize all old photos and slides. One day I will manage to get them all done!
Hugs to you and happy weekend.
Mariette

thanks for sharing that nice video
ReplyDeleteThe flowers are such a lovely yellow. I like the quotes, especially the one about preparing for bedtime. So true!
ReplyDeletePretty bushes. I have no idea what they are though.
ReplyDeleteThank you Linda. Pretty yellow flowers. The music and images of the swans and duck swimming around is very soothing. Hope you have a peaceful day.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful greenery well captured. Loved both the quotes.
ReplyDeleteI especially like your last quote. I have found it to be true if I want to get to sleep at a reasonable hour. Even though there is enough work to keep me busy until my head hits the pillow, I can't get right to sleep without some "wind-down" time first.
ReplyDeleteYour nature park is a truly magical place. All the wonderful photos you take of it make it easy to see why you like to walk there! Thank-you sharing those quotes. The first one really hit home with me.
ReplyDeleteThanks for your visit in my blog. I love nature and animals, so I really liked your blog, beautiful pictures and videos. :)
