When I went on one of my walks the other day I was pleasantly surprised to see a couple of bunnies in a park by the waterfront. Their owners were with them and were sitting on a bench keeping an eye on them. They didn't mind me taking photos of them so I, of course, snatched the opportunity! This is the first time I have ever seen bunnies in a park in Montreal! You just need to click on the images to see a larger view.

That carrot looks too big for those tiny mouths. But it will occupy their attention for awhile.
ReplyDeleteYour bunny photos are interesting. I was surprised that they didn't seem to be tethered in any way. Not sure that's a good idea myself. I can just see a Great Dane or, worse yet, a hunting dog, approaching to investigate and things happening too fast for the owners to intervene.
Hi Linda, I also thought the exact same thing!
DeleteI have never heard of anyone taking bunnies to a park but guess they appreciated being in nature. Like Linda, I agree that they seem they should be on a leash. Those baby bunnies in the video are adorable but so are the "park" bunnies, too. You take some wonderful walks!
ReplyDeleteååå såå søt :-)
ReplyDeleteAwww....so cute!!
ReplyDeleteThat carrot looks too big for those bunnies, but they chopped away at it. :-) The pet bunnies are cute, but I'd be afraid to let them loose like that outside.
ReplyDeletei love rabbits and bunnies, they're my favorite animals! partly because i was born in the Year of the Rabbit in the Chinese calendar, so i feel an affinity for them! great photos! :D
ReplyDeletethose baby bunnies are too cute

ReplyDeleteHi Linda. So cute.. Adorable video. Cheers..
ReplyDeleteSimpáticas fotografías de conejitos; me hace gracia el segundo de ellos con sus largas orejas caídas. Un abrazo,
ReplyDeletewhat an adorable video, I wonder how many there are in total. And the park bunnies were they really with owners? I have had friends who've had rabbits as pets, amazing pets, but they didn't take them to the park, LOL....have a lovely Monday
ReplyDeleteNow that's cuteness overload right there :)
ReplyDeleteRabbits are OK house pets; I had one, once. A French lop, like the brown one. They don't move fast; two people could corner one trying to escape. But, why would they. They look pretty fat and happy to me.
ReplyDeleteUnusually cute! And I've never heard of rabbit owners walking their bunnies in a public park. I wonder what happens when the dog owners walking their pets show up?
ReplyDeleteWe have several bunnies around here...mostly cotton tails and an occasional much larger hare. One neighbor has a large black rabbit we enjoy seeing. Thanks for sharing my friend!
ReplyDeleteHow sweet, Linda !

Hi Linda. Bunnies are so sweet even though they can wreck a garden. Thank you for your kind comments on my Pink Tea post..Happy Thanksgiving Day..Judy
ReplyDeleteLovely bunnies. Years ago we had a hutch and a pet rabbit. He was very loveable and cuddly, he was also too inquisitive and would often take off like a hare. He went to a bigger house with a field after too many escapdes.
ReplyDeleteLovely pictures too Linda.
They are certainly not wild rabbits.
