Lovely photos! I enjoy going into greenhouses when I visit various places. I also enjoyed that old soup commercial. Thanks Linda and Happy Halloween!
ReplyDeleteYou always find such beauty on your walks, Linda. These photos are lovely. And I enjoyed the video. I'm like you...I love the wholesomeness of those old commercials. How I miss morality.
ReplyDeleteWow. Had forgotten that one. I'd like to transfer myself in there and do the 50/60's all over again.
ReplyDeleteI remember that commercial!! Love the old ones so much better than the ridiculous ones of today!
ReplyDeleteI love watching vintage advertisements and commercials - they're so fascinating!
ReplyDeleteCampbell's tomato soup with toasted cheese sandwiches. I remember the "get up and go"line.
ReplyDeleteCampbell soups... it brings back some memories. Your photos are very good.
ReplyDeleteI actually remember this ad! So funny,I hadn't thought abut it before, but the mom is actually serving the baby a can of soup!! I like the big yellow fish. O.K. let's see. You have a bromeliad and a...gosh I have one sitting right here in front of me in my living room and I can't think of the name. I have had mine over five years and it blooms.
ReplyDeleteHello Linda, this is a place I could visit and be extremely happy!

Great video! I think it's interesting that they advise you to eat soup once a day. Commercials are so different nowadays.
ReplyDeletePretty photos! I like watching fish swim around. So peaceful.
They are such beautiful shots. I really like koi fish but I can't have them with the raccoons liking them too.
ReplyDeleteI had some Campbell's tomato soup just the other day. I like it with grilled cheese.
ReplyDeleteI love Cambell's soup and it reminds me of my childhood days.
ReplyDeleteGreat photos the last one of the pink peace lily ... we have one just like that blooming in the front room :)

ReplyDeleteLovely photos as always, Linda! I so enjoy seeing tropical-looking plants as the cold weather starts to set in--they make me feel warmer. :-) Thanks for your comment on my blog--it's nice to be back!

Lie(f)s.
We grew up without Campbell soup and I learned about it only later in my life...
ReplyDeleteAh don't you just enjoy all those old commercials. Campbell's soup was something we often had at lunch time when I was young. Like you I no longer have it. The photos that were taken in June are so lovely...will be looking forward to greenhouse days again. Seems like winter's landscape almost makes one forget. Then we are so wonderfully surprised in the spring when we make our first visit of the season. Have a great week end.
ReplyDeleteenda en spennende blogg innlegg :-)
ReplyDeleteI don't remember that commercial, but the song is familiar. Thanks for sharing the nostalgia and lovely photos, Linda!
