Squirrel Away Bird Cafe

Hello everyone!  A very warm welcome to you all!  The video I have chosen for this post is a two minute clip of some squirrels trying to get some food from a wild bird feeder.  I laughed at the sounds (boing!) and found the video quite enjoyable!  Hope you all enjoy it as well!

The photos I am sharing today are ones that I took in December 2010 at Beaver Lake, (Lac aux Castors), situated on Montreal's Mount Royal.  You just need to click on the images to see a larger view.

Thank you all so much for visiting me here!  I always appreciate and enjoy reading your kind thoughts, which you are always welcome to share.

  1. Perfect music for the unaccomplishable feats! I almost wanted one of them to be successful. Thanks for the laugh.
Happy New Year to You, Your Family, and Friends, Linda!

  2. I have squirrel proof feeders, too. I also have the fattest squirrels (and doves) on the street; they are the clean up crew of the scattered seed.

  11. First of all I wish you all the best for 2014, Linda. Your pictures are gorgeous. The landscape is so beautiful with some snow. We don't have winter here. The temperature is much too high (10C) this year. I hope we will get a bit. Greetings from the Netherlands, Joke

  14. Loved the video! Squirrels are just furry little cuteness. We don't have them here. Well, we do have desert squirrels out in the desert, but they don't come into town.

  18. Squirrels are the craftiest little creatures. We have one that visits our back yard on a regular basis. He loves to antagonize our cats through the clear glass pane back door. It is fun to watch. Guess they need their food too, right? LOL Hope you are staying warm. Have a blessed day. Thank you for the video and beautiful pictures. LesleyRose♦

  22. I remember visiting Mount Royal as a child! So many of your posts remind me of my childhood. I spent a lot of time in Montreal visiting relatives.

  23. Those snow pics are gorgeous to look at especially since we can't feel the cold temperatures. The squirrel video is funny. Some of my blogger friends post the problems they have in keeping squirrels off their bird feeders.
