The hibiscus photos are so beautiful. Nicely done.
ReplyDeleteLovely shade of yellow!
ReplyDeleteYes, we do all shine on! Sometimes we don't realize it or take advantage though. And no, I haven't a clue as to what Yoko is doing. Maybe she feels the music more being blindfolded. :)
ReplyDeleteBeautiful bright yellow hibiscus!
Good video to have as it is the fiftieth anniversary of them first performing on TV on the Ed Sullivan Show. Hibiscus look delicate but are quite hardy in the summer it seems.
ReplyDeleteThose hibiscus are stunning, and the colours are deep and brilliant, lovely photos for your winter's day. Cheers, Jean.
ReplyDeleteI don't know why she's crocheting like that. It's almost like she's meditating to the music. I've never seen this video-thanks for sharing! And I love the vibrant yellow of the flowers.

What a beautiful hibiscus, needing some color right now :)
ReplyDeleteNow you have me wondering why about Yoko Ono is doing that.
Wasn't that one of her live artist performances, and isn't that a Kotex pad if so I suppose she's sending an enlightenment message in regards to the suppressed position of some women, the inequalities etc. Your hibiscus photos are gorgeous.
ReplyDeleteI do so love hibiscus. We have a newly planted yellow with red/rose center like the image you share.
ReplyDeleteAND...loved your bird photos in the posts below also, especially the Canadian Geese!!

I have a red and a orange one.

I've always been so intrigued by Lennon. I wish I could have seen him perform live!!
ReplyDeleteZ przyjemnością wysłuchałam piosenki Lenonna, a Yoko trochę dziwnie wygląda. Hibiskusy uwielbiam, to piękne i delikatne kwiaty. Pozdrawiam.
ReplyDeleteWe are pleased listened to the song Lenonna and Yoko looks a little strange. I love hibiscus, is a beautiful and delicate flowers. Yours.

ReplyDeletebeautiful hibiskus, :)
ReplyDeleteI am sure she is making some kind of statement.....LOL
ReplyDeleteJ'adore les hibiscus ! Les tiens sont super jolis. :)
Hi Linda, what lovely flowers! I am looking forward to spring this year. There is a lovely field nearby that blossoms with small purple wildflowers every April. It is breathtakingly beautiful. About Yoko Ono, I wonder if her eyes might be really sensitive to stage lights and photographer's flashes? She always wears really dark heavy glasses. The blindfold doesn't look that tight, I wonder if she could look down and see her crochet work while blocking out the big stage lights? Maybe she suffers from migraines or seizures that are triggered by light strobes? Have a wonderful day ahead! Delisa :)
ReplyDeleteBeautiful photos of the flowers and I have no idea why Yoko is crocheting blind folded.
ReplyDeleteDelightful flowers! I so much miss the flowers of spring...even the greens of the trees and grass...it won't be long now!
ReplyDeleteL"hibiscus est magnifique! Bisous tout doux et bonne journée!
ReplyDeleteYour flowers are beautiful, Linda, once more... !
ReplyDeleteLie(f)s.
Hi Linda, how you doin'? I've always loved hibiscus. Its the flower of summer.
ReplyDeleteAnd hibiscus often reminds one of the Tropics, Tahiti...especially now we experiencing snow and ice.
Your hibiscus blooms are beautiful.
We count the garden by the flowers, never by the leaves that fall.
We count our lives with smiles and not the tears that roll.
You have a nice day, and keep a song in your heart.
Best regards.
Lee.
Lovely hibiscus! I always feel sad about John Lennon's senseless death. Have a good day!
ReplyDeleteLovely flowers!
ReplyDeleteLynn has the Yoko thing correct.
Yoko is..... :)
Preciosos hibiscos amarillos. Un abrazo,
