The following are photos that I took today! You just need to click on the images to see a larger view.
I saw a male cardinal, and this is actually the very first time I manage to get a photo of it. However, in the first image you will need to look hard to see him, as he was very good at trying to hide! :) In the second image I caught him on a fence before he flew away.

I have had the pleasure of having Eastern owls calling to one another and flying calmly very close to me on many occasions ~ it is wonderful.

You made me laugh with the first video. I really enjoyed the one about the owls, too, although I didn't hear any that sound like the one we hear occasionally at night. I had no idea that owls made some of those sounds.

Cardinals are one of my all time favorite birds! We don't have them around here so seeing a picture or two is a real treat! Happy Easter my friend!
