I totally agree with the last one. I remember the "milk from contented cows"!! Funny, I think it is actually much more expensive than real milk in cartons. But I will buy it if a recipe calls for it. George Burns! I used to watch the George Burns & Gracie Allen show. He was funny, and I don't think he ever played that violin.

As always, I enjoy and appreciate all the quotes. Especially the one from Mother Teresa. Something for me to remember as I'm struggling with an injury right now and was feeling sorry for myself.

ReplyDeleteAfter the change from England to France to Costa Rica I now rely on the adverts on the supermarket website where I order Mother's shopping to make sure I get the right day...

how I remember that carnation milk can, it was always present on every table setting at coffee or tea time, I'd forgotten all about it. And Jimmy Cricket brought some sweet childhood memores...Kati says it so well, lovely selection, as always. :-)
