Asking for your Prayers and Thoughts
This started yesterday morning and continues to affect me, making me feel tired and weak, and it is difficult to swallow without pain and discomfort. I am resting and drinking plenty of liquids, especially water, but I haven't much of an appetite for food at this time.
Still, I am trying to eat to keep up my strength but it isn't easy, so please keep me in your prayers and thoughts, and I won't be visiting blogs for a few days. I made a few blog posts in advance so they will appear over the next few days. I hope you will all enjoy them!
Thank you all so much.
Linda

Comment moderation is enabled. I do hope that Blogger's changes in the way of proving that you are not a robot do not deter you from commenting! Thank you so much! And if you use DISQUS for accepting comments on your blog I don't have that, either, nor do I want it. Thanks!
Get your rest, drink tea. Try soup, and if it persists, go to the doctor.
ReplyDeleteThanks so much, William. I was advised by a nurse on the phone today that if it persists for more than 5 days to get myself to a doctor.
DeleteI called Info-Sante, which is a medical hotline that one can call and speak directly with a nurse. She had told me about what I mentioned above.
DeleteSoup is really a good idea. It works as a warm drink as well.
ReplyDeleteAlso, if you have honey, add some to hot water or tea, and maybe a little milk as well. Let it cool down to whatever feels the most soothing to drink.
I have had the same thing!!! Today I did as much to nothing as possible - - - slept late and rested this afternoon. It has helped. Remember to gargle with some salt water, too. Also, follow William's advice. I have not gone to the doctor yet because I have not had fever - - - but the throat at its worst was hot and dry and hurt down my esophagus. The rest and LOTS of fluids will hopefully help you. I will pray for you, too.
ReplyDeleteJe te souhaite un très bon rétablissement Linda, je pense à toi
