A Health Breakthrough! Finally!
I had a nasty and persistent bug, but I am very happy to say that I am on the road to recovery. Today is day 13, and this is the first day in almost two weeks (since July 7th) that I am beginning to feel like myself again.
I am stubborn and old fashioned and prefer to use natural remedies as much as possible as opposed to medications in (especially) things like the flu, colds, etc. I prefer to let my immune system do what it was designed to do, and I know that some people don't understand this. In my view, there are no side effects in things like fresh ginger, honey and other healthy foods (unless of course one is allergic to them), but there are many side effects to prescription and over the counter medications.
I lost about 7 pounds, and am actually beginning to enjoy eating again, and am taking it slowly and eating small and healthy meals. I am sipping a cup of fresh ginger tea with a little honey that I made and it is wonderful!
I just wanted to let you all know and to thank you all for your thoughts and prayers on my behalf.

I am so glad, thanks for letting us know! Yes, it is true that no drug can cure a virus, All they can do is treat the symptoms. a virus has to run it's course. The less drugs the better!
