Taking a Health and Rest Break
In my last post I gave you all a health update. I am feeling very weak, tired and nauseous, which may be attributed to the antibiotics I am taking.
I am trying to eat very small quantities of good food to keep my strength up, but it is not easy. I have lost my appetite for food, and I know it is easy for others to say that I need to eat, and I am aware that I need to eat, but when you are feeling nauseous, just the thought of food isn't tempting at all.
Thank you all so much for your prayers and thoughts, and for your support.
I have no energy right now and just trying to eat is taking up any little energy I have.
Much love and hugs to you all.

ReplyDeleteKeep drinking plenty of fluids even if you have to do it one teaspoon at a time or one ice chip at a time but drink LOTS!!! Very, very important. So sorry you are sick.

ReplyDeleteWe'll I'm certainly glad it is something treatable, but I'm sorry you are feeling so ill. I get the exact same reaction from antibiotics. Ugh, I feel so crummy on them! I know exactly how you feel. Will be praying for you. Perhaps you can give your doctor a call to see if there is something that can help with the nausea? Hugs.

Rest and get well. A big hug:)
ReplyDeleteYes, most people have no appetite when they're ill. Do have a good rest, take care and God bless. May he see you through all this and get you back on your feet again.
ReplyDeleteHi Linda,
ReplyDeleteI am so sorry.
Je te souhaite un bon rétablissement. Je t'envoie tout plein de pensées positives et je t'envoie une grosse bise. Prends bien soin de toi
I was having problems after the stomach flu. My bff suggested probiotics. I went to pharmacy to get them and seems to be helping. I normalizes your gut. I also eat "Gin Gin" candy when I am feeling nauseas. Get that at a health food store. Ginger helps so, I was mainly living on Ginger Ale and soda crackers. I hope you feel better soon!
ReplyDeleteHave a restful and refreshing break Linda. You will be in our thoughts and we can't wait for your return :)
ReplyDeleteOh my, that's not good if you are feeling as you describe.. I hope that soon you feel much improved...Take care and will send prayers your way :)

ReplyDeleteLie(f)s.
god bedring og klem !
ReplyDeleteAll my sympathy. My husband suffered post chemo nausea and found it almost impossible to eat...but did manage small amounts of home made vegetable soups with plain bread. There are some good commercially made soups about if you don't feel like cooking - which I bet you don't.
ReplyDeleteThinking of you.
Praying for you. I know how hard it is to eat when feeling nauseous. You have a lovely blog, enjoyed my stroll through it.
ReplyDeleteWarm wishes for a swift recovery. Remember to rest well.
ReplyDeleteGet as much rest as possible Linda... my prayers are with you ;-)
ReplyDeleteI hope you're feeling better!
ReplyDeleteRest more and sleep well.
ReplyDeleteGet well soon Linda. I can report that I'm over my viral infection. Seems it was related to the Epstein Barr Virus (EBV) usually associated with teenagers.
ReplyDeleteI'm here to send you a big hug, dear Linda.
ReplyDeleteLie(f)s xxx.
