Monday's Post
Hello everyone! A very warm welcome to you all! The videos I have selected for this post are: A Just for Laughs Gag/Juste pour Rire
Deer Loves Cat
Ofelia's Lullaby (relaxing violin music)
Autumn Chicken Stew Recipe
I took the following two photos at Montreal's Botanical Gardens in 2010. You just need to click on the images to see a larger view.
For the following, I am providing the link sources beneath each photo. You just need to click on the images to see a larger view.
That's a great JFL Linda, made me laugh. Loved the deer and cat. I love my chicken stews, maybe I'll adapt my recipe a little. I love your botanical gardens picture. Every town should have a botanical garden, it would also help to protect endangered species.
Linda - the cat and the deer were adorable together. Your entire post was superb! Loved the beautiful violin music and your pictures of the Montreal botanical gardens are just perfect. Hope you are having a delightful week.
Beautiful shots of the gardens! I have to go there when I'm next in Montreal.
I love the cat and deer video. The cat's just lapping all that attention up. My parents had a couple of cats around when they lived in cottage country. Every once in awhile deer would come through the property, and they'd engage in different ways. Sometimes the cat would stealthily stalk the deer until the deer had enough and stomped the ground. Other times the deer would sneak up on the cat who might be snoozing on the grass and startle it.
Hi Linda, thank you for all the lovely videos. A chuckle, a few 'awwwws', some lovely music, a nice meal and beautiful photos! It's been lovely catching up with you today. Thank you so much for your sweet comment. The goose you saw in my header is a Red-breasted Goose that I found on a walk in St. James Park, London, when my family and I took a holiday there in June. Have a great week :)
Hi...I got a big chuckle out of the first video and a big sigh of cuteness for the deer and kitty. If only people could be so excepting. And LOL to Moinka MW comment about the hair ball
Hi Linda, Thank you for stopping by my blog today and leaving me the kind comment. I believe this is the first time I’ve seen your blog and it is very well done and a pleasure to visit. I am always happy to find a blog that emphasizes the positive things in life and especially with the spiritual connection. One of the cards you featured today has a quotation from Oprah Winfrey. Recently I heard a review of her new book called What I Know for Sure. It seems that one time, long ago, she was doing an interview with someone and, as they were completing the interview, the person asked Oprah, “What do you know for sure?” It was a rare moment that caught Oprah without words. As she explained later, when you think about it, it is pretty difficult to say exactly what you do know for sure. She went on to publish a column in her magazine that explained, one thing at a time, that she did know for sure. In the card you featured today, she said this very moment is the only one you know for sure that you have. How true, and yet most of us are always thinking about the past or the future. Your blog is a good way to enjoy the current moment and so I thank you for sharing. I hope you will stop by my blog again. Kind regards, John
Bonjour chère Linda, La vidéo avec la biche et le chat est superbe et j'ai encore beaucoup souri avec celle qui est très humoristique !... Un joli billet qui m'a donné faim aussi avec la recette du ragoût de poulet.
