Beautiful shots, Linda.
ReplyDeleteThe rationing clip reminds me of a display in the War Museum from the era. I have no idea how I'd get through a week with that little sugar.
I came across some ration books in an antique store last month. Such a different time, I can't even imagine.
ReplyDeleteYour two photos are wonderful. I like the shore line shots that gives a feel of being along the water.
ReplyDeleteLinda - that bee gag was just too funny. So cute!! Loved the Irish tune and great quotes. My mom used to talk about the rationing during the war. Hard to imagine in these times what those folks went through. How blessed we are. Have a great day.
