Your Notre Dame pictures are beautiful!!!! It must have been a very spiritual experience for you. We have many cardinals around here, but all I ever hear from them are short peeps. So now I will know when I hear this call!

There is a hint of Highland Cathedral in the film Four Weddings And A Funeral, but the first time I heard it in full was in a military ceremony here on Parliament Hill.
ReplyDeleteI've been in that Notre Dame, and it is grand indeed inside! Beautiful shots!

ReplyDeleteWhen I clicked on the cardinal call, my two cats who were in the room at the time sat straight up, with ears at attention--they thought the birdie was in the room! HA!
Your cathedral shots remind me of the cathedral in old Quebec City - beautiful.
ReplyDeleteWill have to keep that recipe for my granddaughters. And inspiring quotes!

Hi Linda! You are so fortunate to live in Montreal. I've always wanted to visit. So much inspiration here. Thank you so much for stopping by. Bises. Connie*
ReplyDeleteLove your cathedral pictures Linda.
ReplyDeleteVolume turned up on Highland Cathedral. Most of our local Pipe Bands play it on most outings. Well done to composers Ulrich Roever and Michael Korb for a wonderful piece of music.
A selection of wonderful movies and the sound of the red cardinal bird I liked to hear. In the Netherlands, we have no cardinals so this sound was new to me:-) The movie of Scotland was quite nice. The many image spells were again fantastic.
ReplyDeleteGood quote about respect! The Cathedral looks fantastic!
