Monday Melody & More about Myself

Hello everyone!  A very warm welcome to you all!

I love to do crossword puzzles, especially the mixed ones...Syllacrostics, etc.  I do not like the Sudoku ones, though.  I enjoy brain teasers, especially ones from Binary Arts...Rush Hour was a favourite of mine for a long time!  If a puzzle is too easy I get bored, and if it is too difficult I get frustrated, (LOL!), so I prefer the challenge, but not the too difficult ones.

I enjoy magazines such as:  Taste of Home, Country Woman, Our Canada, Woman's World, Reminisce and Reader's Digest.  I love to browse through old magazines, and when I say old I mean very old...such as from the early 1900's to 1960's!  :)

I love things from the Victorian era (clothing, furniture, etc.)  Thanks so much for listening.  :)

The videos I have selected for this post are:

A Just for Laughs Gag/Juste pour Rire

Laughter Attack at Bus Stop

Woman's Half Bedroom Apt. has Awesome Design

Watermelon Agua Fresca

For the following, I am providing the link sources beneath each photo.  You just need to click on the images to see a larger view.

Thank you all so much for visiting me here! I always appreciate and enjoy reading your kind thoughts, which you are always welcome to share.

Hello! I also like to do crossword puzzles, but not even try any sudoku.I am not a number person : ) The magazines you read are similar to my favorities, only Reader's Digest is not to my taste.
Thank you for the videos again. Have a very nice week!

  3. The gag today is not my favorite. I don't think it's nice to make fun of people because of the way they look, even if this was just meant to be funny. The laughing was great though! And I enjoyed the tour of the ultra-small apartment. Makes me feel like I need to get rid of more stuff.

  4. Hi Linda,
these 3 reasons a "dark chocolate" to eat, are really very convincing.
Beautiful beginning of the week for you.

  6. Linda, I love old things as well. If I had lived in the Victorian Era, I would have wanted to be wealthy though! We have snirt, but I think most has melted now. I am printing the "Take what was meant to defeat you" for today. I need that one.

  14. Enjoyed your post today. My mom loves to do the word searches. We keep her supplied with them! I too love the Victorian era! Thinking about redoing my little room as I call it (computer, sewing machine and etc) in Victorian. It actually has that feel now but maybe going a little more vintage. But mercy, I am trying to re-vamp my laundry room and just got through with the living room! I might better slow down. I am about to become overwhelmed writing it! LOL! Hugs and blessings, Cindy

  18. The Laughter Attack got me laughing too.

"If a puzzle is too easy I get bored, and if it is too difficult I get frustrated, (LOL!), so I prefer the challenge, but not the too difficult ones." - You fall into the Goldilocks principle.

  19. Linda, I had to chuckle at the Snirt...I always heated that about winter. The snow was beautiful when it came down, but very ugly as it melted or got plowed up into your yard and driveway.

  31. Loved those videos. The one with the laughing attack reminded me of a time when I was in the NY subway when all the lights went out leaving a car full of passengers in total darkness for a few minutes. A little child said, innocently, "Mommy, do you think we will ever get out of here alive." Someone started laughing and it was infectious. People couldn't stop laughing until the lights went on and everyone just suddenly resumed the usual practice of ignoring everyone around them as if nothing had happened..
