Yes, if you dwell too much on worries, stress, sad and depressing things, your life sure is not going to be really great. As the song goes, don't worry...be happy. Life would surely be a lot more bearable that way.
ReplyDeleteI like the Mission saying, they are all nice.
ReplyDeleteHappy Easter to you.
Good morning dear Linda,
ReplyDeleteI love the thought about quality of life !
have a very good day and regards from Italy !
Funny gag! Anise milk sounds interesting... I like anise, but not milk. Wonder if there is anise tea?
ReplyDeleteAye Aye Captain! Will remember to keep busy :)
ReplyDeleteSo many great things in today's post - loved the arcade gag, that was funny and I particularly like the tiara quote!
ReplyDeleteanijsmelk.. la musique est très populaire chez nous Linda
ReplyDeletegreetings
Nice to see the bird to get out from the barn:)
ReplyDeleteHi, dear Linda! Thank you for another superb collection of videos and inspirational quotes. I will make sure Mrs. Shady sees the recipe for that soothing drink. I am in awe of people who rescue animals, and the video of the bird rescue in the barn was a great one. Earlier this week a mourning dove was "trapped" all night long in the outdoor corridor of my condo building. I reasoned that the bird flew in there at dusk because it was attracted by the hall lights and could not find its way back out. I didn't try to intervene because I reasoned that, when dawn arrived, the bird would head toward the light and escape. I was correct. I also enjoyed the beautiful sound of the Pink Martini vocal group.
ReplyDeleteHappy Thursday, dear friend Linda!
Hi Linda, thank you so much for visiting my blog and the lovely comment you let me. Love the lighthearted clips and words of encouragement. I might just try that aniseed drink, looks so good. The first video made my day. xo

A lot of good ones today my friend but I do love, love, love the sign that says YOUR MISSION! Hugs and blessings, Cindy
ReplyDeleteHi Linda! I enjoyed that beautiful song from Martini and the Von Trapps. I've also been at the arcade many times playing those same racing games with my daughters so I loved the gag. There were so many inspirational quotes to meditate on, too. Thanks for another wonderful post... :)
ReplyDeleteGreat dragon flie card but I don't want these insects near me. Too scary.
ReplyDeleteGreetings,
Filip
Hi Linda :) What a great selection of videos and inspirational quotes. Juste Pour Rire is one of my favourite programs but I'd never seen that segment before. So funny!
ReplyDeleteHello Linda,
ReplyDeleteMuch fun with your movies.
Your first is always great with the candid camera.
Many greetings,
Marco
Good advice about ginger....I've had ginger tea from time to time when my stomach was upset and it worked.
ReplyDeleteLinda, thank you for the interesting quotes. A joyful day to you.
ReplyDeleteWonderful videos Linda.. Thanks :)
ReplyDeleteFunny gag...that would be a surprise! What I like about the gags is that they are rather gentle...they don't put people in danger.. And I think I may have to put Austria on my "bucket list."
ReplyDeleteYes, Linda, that would make a perfect drink before bedtime ...
ReplyDeleteI must try it ...I love the flavor of anise ..
Have a wonderful day and thanks for all the great selections today .. I know it must take you some time ...know that they are appreciated ...xx
There is always room for Pink Martini!
ReplyDeleteAlways fun here. Glad the no one playing arcade games fainted.
ReplyDeleteThe people in today's gag will remember it every time they set food in a game arcade ~ LOL! Loved your drink video! What a fun way to share a recipe! The bread with chocolate mice on it at the end brought back wonderful memories with times I spent with a Dutch friend when I was a young teenager. Thank you for sharing this video. The ginger home remedy reminded me of my great grandmother who would make me ginger tea when my tummy was off ~ only she put the ginger in hot milk. It really worked! Have a good one!

Hi Linda, thanks so much for sharing those thoughtful quotes. We all need those inspiring reminders from time to time.
ReplyDeleteI think Arlynda might really like that Dutch drink.
ReplyDeletethat quote about dragonflies is interesting ... i'm not sure it's true, but it's definitely interesting! :)
ReplyDeleteThat's better than 3D games!
ReplyDeleteHow nice, Linda, the gag !
ReplyDeleteI don't like 'anijs', but I love 'ginger' !
Splendid selection as always, dear Linda. I was especially struck by the image with the (deeper) meaning behind dragonflies. They've always been one of my favourite insects and something of a personal symbol of me (likewise for butterflies). In fact, I just bought my first ever dragonfly print garment (a vintage style dress) this year to celebrate that and can't wait to debut it when we finally get some warm enough weather there.
ReplyDeleteWith all my heart, I wish you a joyful April!
♥ Jessica
