I love to cook! I, at one time, had as many as 20 cookbooks. I ended up giving them all away. Most of my "recipes" are ones that I learned and/or experimented with and created over the years. Yesterday morning I made an omelet with grated cheddar and a finely chopped fresh vine tomato. It was delicious! :) Thanks so much for listening.

The Jellab looks almost like a meal in itself. I LOVE that cockatoo!!! I think the family of people walk around talking, so he does like them.

Naughty nun there (lol).
Thanks again for helping me to start my day with "positive vibes".
Thanks for sharing that little tidbit of information about yourself! I always like to get to know more about my lovely blogging friends. : )
ReplyDeleteThe second to last quote is a good one.
ReplyDeleteI used to keep lots of recipes and like you, I have given them all away.
ReplyDeletethe omelette you made sounds delicious ... especially with the fresh tomatoes. our tomatoes here in southeast asia are not as sweet as the ones in the west unfortunately :)
ReplyDeletethere are wise words there to live by!
ReplyDeleteGood morning, dear Linda! Mrs. Shady's father owned a popular restaurant in Baltimore and taught her a lot about cooking and the art of presentation. She loves to cook and often dabbles and experiments, coming up with her own version of recipes. I love the dishes she serves! That video of the nun kissing the biker was hilarious. A couple of the people looked like they needed to use that portable potty to lose their lunch. That cockatoo sounds like a toddler and acts like one, running from room to room shouting. That was delightful!
ReplyDeleteThank you, dear friend Linda!
Hi Linda!
ReplyDeleteI love cooking too, especially baking cakes, desserts and bread.
I still have all my cookbooks, but some are looking a little sad and dog-eared from their long association with my doughy hands!! lol
I also love the cockatoo...*smiles*
xoxoxo
Coucou Linda,
ReplyDeleteIl est trop drôle cette oiseau hi! hi!
Je t'embrasse et merci beaucoup pour ton beau message sur mon blog (✿◠‿◠)

Ooh...omelet sounds so good right about now to me! I enjoy cooking too and especially when I don't feel that I've got to cook....LOL! I like making up my own recipes too. I need to make my own cookbook! Enjoyed this post today Linda. Hugs and blessings, Cindy
ReplyDeleteThanks for more morning inspirations!
ReplyDeleteGood morning Linda. I loved the video joke about the nun. I dated a girl who wanted to be a nun and said she loved me but loved God more and she became a nun. Today she's married with a couple children. Think about that. I also enjoyed the sassy pants / smarty pants. Makes sense to me.
ReplyDeleteHave a fantastic Wednesday Linda. See ya.
Cruisin Paul
Thanks Linda, a great "read" as always.
ReplyDeleteHi Linda, I especially like these posts where you tell us a little about yourself. I also love to cook. By any chance have you tried an electric pressure cooker? They are not expensive and are way easier to use than the old fashioned screw-down-the-top models. I will send you a couple of good recipes if you wish. Have a great day!
ReplyDeleteI got a good laugh out of the gag video. The slow motion bird in flight was beautiful they were so graceful. Enjoyed all the quotes. Have a blessed day. Madeline
