Thursday Things
Hello everyone! A very warm welcome to you all! The videos I have chosen for this post are: A Just for Laughs Gag/Juste pour Rire
Organized Lunches - Dollar Store Jar Salad
Slow Motion Butterfly in Flight
How to Restyle Old Clothes - Style and Fashion Tips
I've Heard that Song Before - Dinah Shore (1943)
For the following, I am providing the link sources beneath each photo. You just need to click on the images to see a larger view. We all need to take the time to reflect on ourselves and our life, that is when we know we are still alive within...our hearts, our tears, our memories and our time.
Good morning Linda. I really enjoyed all this beauty here. Nice flimpjes where I could laugh with delicious and also the Butterfly in Flight is wonderful to see. Superb spells and I always enjoy it. Thank you for all this beauty. Very good weekend. Greetings, Helma
Good morning, dear Linda! My favorite video in this bunch is the Dollar Store jar salad. Mrs. Shady and I have a Dollar Store near us and often shop there for supplies. We will be on the lookout for those jars. She makes smoothies to take along with her to work. Those salads look delicious and would be a nice addition to her lunch. It makes me sad to see those beautiful butterflies and to know that their numbers are dwindling due to overuse of pesticides and other factors. Dinah Shore was one of my mother's favorite singers. When I was a boy my family watched Dinah's Chevrolet-sponsored television show every week.
My thirteen year old granddaughter is given so many cloths from friends of my generation, clearing away things they wore in the seventies and eighties and are thrilled to find someone who fits them. Laura has such a style sense, she rocks those vintage clothes.
So many of the gags involve situations over which the "mark" has no control...which is what makes them funny, of course. This is a good one! Love the butterfly in flight. But I avoid Dollar stores if I possibly can and I can't imagine eating one of their salads in a jar! :)
Meanwhile in Canada with the deer. At least it wasn't a bull moose. Candy Waters art amazes me. She should show her art in the art museum where more people could see it. It's so nice of you to put it in your blog for us to see. Have a wonderful Thursday Linda. See ya.

Papaya's good, lots of health benefits. Here, they also use raw papaya to cook soup - haven't tried that myself though.
