Thursday Thoughts
Hello everyone! A very warm welcome to you all! Please do not hesitate to vote in my poll in the upper right hand column of my blog. Thank you so much! The videos I have selected for this post are: A Just for Laughs Gag/Juste pour Rire
A Small Act of Kindness Goes a Long Way at Wal-Mart
Kittens Befriend German Shepherd
Visit Denmark
For the following, I am providing the link sources beneath each photo. You just need to click on the images to see a larger view. The kinder you are, the kinder we all are.
I make a choice to see the good in the world. My choice is to notice the beauty, love and total magnificence in each day. My focus is on these things because I know that when I do this, I am actually creating more good in the world.
Breathe...you're going to be okay. Breathe and remember you've been in this place before. You've been this uncomfortable, anxious and scared, but you've survived. Breathe and know that you can survive this too. These feelings can't break you. This too shall pass.
Yes, what goes around comes around. To some, it's only money...but generous gestures as such sure go a long long away. Reach out and touch, try a little kindness...whenever and wherever we can.
Good morning, dear Linda! I love stories about ordinary people doing extraordinary things. It seems like more people than ever are experiencing the joy that comes from paying it forward. I hope the spirit goes viral and many more people join in and help others in need. The video about the German Shepherd and the kittens was heartwarming. Dogs can be taught to attack and kill. They can also be taught to be gentle and loving. It is the same with human children.
Greetings from New Hampshire! What a wonderful idea for a blog. I agree, We can all use a little more peace in our life. Love your videos! And that moose at the door, that made me laugh out loud. Have a beautiful day.
the kinder you are, the kinder we all are --- that's true! i encountered a few very unkind people this week, but a few very kind people elsewhere too --- so it was interesting to compare the difference, and to realise that i should strive to be one of the kind people too :)
My dear Linda, what a beautiful post! I was truly blessed by the videos I watched and was once again reminded of how far love and kindess can go. Blessings to you, my dear!
My dearest friend, I am so happy to have you here, to have this chance to visit you again and again. You are such a special person and I can see that all people love you and you deserve it! Love all these quotes! I love avocados a lot and today, because of you found something good about them :)
Good afternoon Linda. I was gone this morning but as soon as got home I got into your blog. I first took your poll. Good idea. I might also do it but I have to wait until a few more people commenting on my blog. " Quick reminder! Slow down! Enjoy the moments in your day. These moments are your life." I totally agree. Have a great day my friend. See ya.
I always get such a kick out of those gags and the kittens and German shepherd were so cute. Denmark looks like a wonderful place to vacation. I'm going to add that to my bucket list... :)
Hard to pick, I like it all, but I'm partial to the cartoons/comic side of things. Though I also love when you write personal stuff, for me, personal blogs win out over everything else.
Please do not be shy! I appreciate your kind comments, they are sweet treasures and really make my day! Spammers, do not waste your time, I delete your comments and they do not even show on my blog. Comment moderation is enabled. I do hope that Blogger's changes in the way of proving that you are not a robot do not deter you from commenting! Thank you so much! And if you use DISQUS for accepting comments on your blog I don't have that, either, nor do I want it. Thanks!
