Tuesday Choices
Hello everyone! A very warm welcome to you all! The videos I have chosen for this post are: A Just for Laughs Gag/Juste pour Rire
Romanian Folk Music and Beauty of Romania
Lifebuoy Soap - 1940's Australian Cinema Commercial
For the following, I am providing the link sources beneath each photo. You just need to click on the images to see a larger view. The most important decision you make is to be in a good mood. - Voltaire
Every day, the world will drag you by the hand, yelling, "This is important! You need to worry about this! And this! And this!" And each day, it's up to you to yank your hand back, put it on your heart and say, "No, this is what's important." - Arianna Huffington
Hello Linda, How are you? Thank you for sharing the pomegranate smoothies.Never thought of making into smoothies. I like pomegranate. Such pretty color.
... ur blog lifts my sprit every time and i thank u 4 that, L ... looove the romanian music clip ... sending one of mine ... a bit heavy, i know ... is part of my heritage though ... smiles ... u like? Love, cat. https://www.youtube.com/embed/hR-uy1qi5n4?rel=0&controls=0&showinfo=0
Good morning, dear Linda! It was priceless to see the look of desperation on the faces of those people when the boy tossed the handcuff keys in the pond. What a long and elaborate advert for Lifebuoy Health Soap! I remember using Lifebuoy during childhood. I love to watch wild birds feeding and flitting about and those Eastern Canadian species are beautiful.
I agree about the time. That is also, one of my pet peeves, listening to people say they don't have time for this or that, but yet, spend a billion hours on FB.
Hi there Linda. I agree with you about " Rich is the one who can find joy in simple things." Many people don't understand that idea. Have a beautiful Tuesday my friend. See ya.
Now you have me thinking of soap. In my grandmother's house, she used Sweetheart soap. I have a box of keepsakes and when someone gave me a bar of Sweetheart soap. I put it in there and it's magical. I open the lid and instantly get flooded with a lovely memory.
Hi Linda. Whatever happened to Lifebuoy Soap in the UK? Those huge great solid chunks of soap that seemed to last for ever? Maybe the latter is the reason it disappeared from the shops?
I'm a great believer in the joy of simple pursuits like bird watching. It's very satisfying and rewarding.
Dear Linda- that lifebuoy commercial was so fun. It is always nice to see advertising from the past. So cute. Loved your wild birds. The finches are frequent. Visitors at my feeders. Thanks for your delightful post. Hugs
Huffington's quote really spoke to me, because it's something I constantly have to remind myself of. I also enjoyed learning about the foods that make you feel better, because now I know why I'm drawn to eating them on a regular basis. Blessings!

Lifebuoy! That must have been around like...forever! Another brand here since time immemorial would be Lux...and the green Popinjay. Heard of those?
