Food for Thought Friday
Hello everyone! A very warm welcome to you all! The videos I have chosen for this post are: A Just for Laughs Gag/Juste pour Rire
Doing Laundry: How to Fold Clothes
Mr. Fox Drops into the Office
Tipping a Hotel Cleaner $500
For the following, I am providing the link sources beneath each photo. You just need to click on the images to see a larger view. The best thing you could give someone you love is not a thing. It's your full attention. Yes. It's even better than a full box of chocolates.
Confidence isn't walking into a room with your nose in the air, and thinking you are better than everyone else. It's walking into a room and not having to compare yourself to anyone else in the first place.
When I was very little my grandma taught me how to fold fitted bottom bed sheets. I learned to fold them like a pro! Now there are those extra deep fitted sheets that have elastic all around so they are more of a circle than a square. My grandma would be spinning in her grave if she knew how the were "folded" and stuffed into the cupboard.
Great videos today. I have never heard of the Japanese fold, but I'm going to try that! I can't imagine having a fox in the office, though it's quite common to see them in streets and gardens around here.
Oh Linda, the FOX ist soo sweeeeet! Lots of hugs! Traude ✿ܓܓ✿ܓ✿ܓ✿ ♥♥♥♥ ܓܓ✿ܓ✿ܓ http://rostrose.blogspot.co.at/2015/08/irland-reisebericht-glendalough-und.html
Lovely post with interesting messages. I liked most the "Don't wait until you reach your goal to be proud of yourself. Be proud of every step you take." and the "I am too busy working on my own grass to notice if yours is any greener."
Dear Linda - imagine a fox in the office. What a great video friend. Your quote about doing things that nourish your soul - is something I do when I visit your blog. It is always a delight to stop here and savor your great posts. Love the art of Louise Mcnaught. So eye catching. Hope you have a great week-end. Hugs!
Speaking of yard work, last year I sprayed some grass killer around the central air unit and some places where you can get to with a lawn mower. Days later there was no difference. A month later, it worked and it looked terrible.
Good morning, dear Linda! I was a second time around bachelor for 17 years and could have used those tips for folding laundry. I learned a lot from watching that tutorial. I am very happy to know that the little fox wasn't injured when he plunged through the skylight and into an office. When released I hope he found his way to a safer, less populated area.
The hotel cleaner video made me cry, in a good way, and i loved the fox in the office, too. I don't know if you knew that my mother passed this week. Just wanted you to know.
Wow! $500 tip? She must be a special lady. The fox is very cute!...for a moment, I thought the guy couldn't capture it...happy ending! Have a nice weekend!
