Merry Monday
Hello everyone! A very warm welcome to you all! The videos I have selected for this post are: A Just for Laughs Gag/Juste pour Rire
Black Squirrel Sprints Assault Course
Wonderful Turkish Marbling Art, Painting on Water
Hand Feeding and Playing with a Friendly Platypus
For the following, I am providing the link sources beneath each photo. You just need to click on the images to see a larger view. Beautiful things happen when you distance yourself from drama and negativity.
What I like most about change is that it's a synonym for hope. If you are taking a risk, what you are really saying is, "I believe in tomorrow and I will be part of it."
You are capable of more than you know. Choose a goal that seems right for you and strive to be the best, however hard the path. Aim high, behave honorably, prepare to be alone at times, and to endure failure, persist! The world needs all you can give.
Hope you had a wonderful weekend - we finally got some much-needed rain here and it has cooled down. Loved the squirrel video. They can be such a nuissance, but they are smart and (sometimes) cute!
The one about friends being there all the time versus when it is convenient really struck a note with me. Those are really the true friends Have a happy day, Linda
Good morning, dear Linda! I love to watch squirrels. Seeing how that squirrel followed the assault course reminded me of the squirrels around my house. Every day they emerged from their nests high in the trees, jumped from limb to limb and scurried vertically down tree trunks, making their way to my birdbath and the nearby spot where I scattered sunflower seeds for the birds. I never heard of that form of art in which you can make paintings on water and transfer the images onto paper. It seems like magic! My favorite video was the one of the people feeding and tickling that platypus. It does my heart good to see people whose first instinct toward animals is to love and care for them rather than shoot them to death.
That is one determined squirrel! And a very creative human to have come up with such an obstacle course. Personally, I think chocolate is an enhancement to any activity. :)
Hi Linda, looks like nothing can stop the black squirrel from getting to the feeder. It can easily overcome any sprint assault course. I didn't know Platypus are so cute and playful. Will be fun to keep one as pet.
Hi Linda, returning to your beautiful pages after my break is like a breath of fresh air! Here, I have found such inspiration...and comfort. Thank you from the depths of my heart...xoxoxo
Linda, that marbling art is so cool. Very creative and such a talent. I really like the quote, "beautiful things happen" and the "tutu" quote. Thanks for sharing this gentle inspiration on this Monday morning.
Hi Linda! I hope things are beginning to cool down in Montreal! We're under a tornado watch here, and rain is pounding down. At least it isn't a warning. That platypus was awesome. I dearly want to see a platypus! It's one of the first animals I ever learned the name of when I was very little. Chocolate makes everything better! Have a good evening, dear friend!
Thank you for the laughs 'Just for laughs' I think I will move away from those old farts. What the friendly platypus! I love chocolate! And I will buy more for my brain.
Super post, Linda! Black squirrels we don't have, but we do have fox squirrels which have black and brown coloring, elongated bodies and bushy tails. The first time I saw one running I thought it was a fox. And you've given me a great idea as to how to clear our a doctor's waiting room the next time I'm jammed up in one!
