Doreen from Pender Island sent this photo to the CBC. She had been trying to grow a bulb garden in this old canoe, but it became a deer bed instead!

ReplyDeleteBorn in 1959, I missed "the Stroll" the first time around. But, sister, when American Graffiti and Happy Days were hot commodities, I loved the sock hops and theme dances that sprang up! And then...we all STROLLED!!

The human life/earth one reminds me of brother citing something in the bible about man having supremacy/control over animals even though we are all animals.
