Sunday Serenity
Hello everyone! A very warm welcome to you all! The videos I have selected for this post are: A Just for Laughs Gag/Juste pour Rire
The Stroll (1950's Original Dance)
An Animal Sanctuary that Promotes Kindness
Black Beauty Ranch: America's Largest Animal Sanctuary
For the following, I am providing the link sources beneath each photo. You just need to click on the images to see a larger view. Doreen from Pender Island sent this photo to the CBC. She had been trying to grow a bulb garden in this old canoe, but it became a deer bed instead!
Happiness cannot be traveled to, owned, earned, worn or consumed. Happiness is the spiritual experience of living every minute with love, grace and gratitude. - Denis Waitley
Love yourself, respect yourself. Never sell yourself short. Believe in yourself regardless of what other people think. You can accomplish anything, absolutely anything, if you set your mind to it. - Marcus Allen
One breed crossed with another one is not a "Snorkie", "Cockapoo" or a "Chiweenie", it's simply a mutt! Why pay hundreds of dollar for one when there are many beautiful mutts already waiting for you at your local shelter or rescue? Save money and help put puppy mills and backyard breeders out of business.
When you are depressed about the passed or stressed out about the future, bring your attention back to your breath. Breathing is a here and now experience, it takes you back to what is happening this very second.
Very lovely selection today, thank you :) That bulb garden in a canoe would be gorgeous but the deer are also very wonderful! And so many wonderful quotes as well. Thanks Linda!
Bonjour Linda, Par tes posts on voit très bien la personne que tu es. Tu as tant de compassion et de gentillesse que tout le monde veut être ton amie. Merci pour tout. Un régal . Un très bon dimanche à toi. Bises de haute Provence
Oh I so love these, Linda...especially those beautiful deer...and the "Happiness" quote! Dear Linda...you really and truly brighten up my day every single time I visit here.:))
Good morning Linda. Wow, you have given us many different wonderful things to ponder this morning. Totally wonderful. The weather has been brilliant around Amherstburg and next week will be in the middle 70's with no rain. Fantastic. Have a great Sunday good friend in Quebec. See ya.
Hi Linda, I find something wonderful in every one of your posts. Today it is this ... "Happiness cannot be traveled to, owned, earned, worn or consumed. Happiness is the spiritual experience of living every minute with love, grace and gratitude. - Denis Waitley" Thank you for your excellent blog!
Born in 1959, I missed "the Stroll" the first time around. But, sister, when American Graffiti and Happy Days were hot commodities, I loved the sock hops and theme dances that sprang up! And then...we all STROLLED!!
The human life/earth one reminds me of brother citing something in the bible about man having supremacy/control over animals even though we are all animals.
I told him to find a lion and tell the lion about how superior he is and how the lion must respect his authority
