Ecotherapy: Mockingbird Taking a Sprinkler Bath
For the following, I am providing the link sources beneath each photo. You just need to click on the images to see a larger view. We only have control over two moments in our lives...here and now.
We have two choices: continue to blame the world for our stress or take responsibility for our own reactions and deliberately change our emotional climate. - Doc Childre
Dear Linda, the just for laughs gag is wonderful! Watching the faces of the motorists is priceless, first the worry then the laughs then the ‘oh no’ when the ‘cops’ hand them a piece of paper – brilliant, thank you so much for making my day brighter. xx
The bird video reminded me of the little bird we once kept long time ago. It loves to bathe in the water. It will dips its head in the water and it will wash itself even under its feathers. Later it will spread out its feather to dry in the sun. Later we release the bird back to nature.
Good morning, dear Linda! God bless that homeless man for making sure the stray dogs are fed every day, even when he goes hungry as a result. There is a special place in heaven for people like him. When it rains hard in Florida on a summer evening and night falls, the insects and frogs play a symphony similar to that heard in the tropical rain forest. It's hard to sleep with all the noise. I love to watch birds taking baths and showers. Thank you for the mockingbird video!
Mocking birds are probably as clever as crows. A group of them used to imitate my brother-in-law's whistle, and the dogs would rush to the door, thinking he had come come. They would wait an hour or so and repeat.
Oh such a pleasure and privilege to be back here today, Linda...it is like visiting a wonderful, healing sanctuary. I have so enjoyed these wonderfully inspiring videos and quotes. Thank you so much!
Love the JFL gag today! The mockingbird video was neat. Don't you wonder sometimes what bird call they use when they want to talk to each other? I liked the "alternate transportation" quote, too. That hits a little close to home.
Hi Linda, you certainly making me smile East to West with your this interesting, food for thoughts videos. Can imagine you taking time to select appropriate ones. Have fun. Best regards, Lee.
Hi Linda, I am so pleased to meet you. I live in Western Canada and am 59 years young. Lol! Your quotes are so lovely! I especially like the one about Kindness and Forgiveness. Have a wonderful week! Karen
