Wednesday Wishes
Hello everyone! A very warm welcome to you all! The videos I have selected for this post are: A Just for Laughs Gag/Juste pour Rire
Horses Blowing Bubbles in the Water
The Scariest Water Slides in the World
The Message in a Bottle - Donna Douglas (1962) This is not the Donna Douglas who played the role of Elly Mae in The Beverly Hillbillies. This Donna Douglas is Irish. Enjoy! :)
For the following, I am providing the link sources beneath each photo. You just need to click on the images to see a larger view. Never respond to rudeness. When others are rude to you, they reveal who they are, not who you are. Don't take it personally, it is best to be silent.
No, thanks...those water slides. They had one in Singapore a long time ago, the Big Splash they called it...and there were stories about ladies in bikinis...and how their tops came off in the big splash! LOL!!!
I might try some of those slides, but definitely not the one in Brasil! The horsies in water was also cute. And time spent with cats is never wasted - that's true! Hope you are having a nice week, Linda!
The horses knows how to enjoy soaking and having fun in the water. Oh! These water slides? I will never dare try any one of this, even the simplest one. So scary! I like the quote about how to respond to rudeness.
Good morning, dear Linda! I love your animal videos and appreciated the one showing horses relaxing in a farm pond and blowing bubbles. Being submerged in that cool water must have felt very good to those hay burners. Thrill rides are big business. Let's just hope the engineers maintain the highest safety standards in their quest to build the biggest, tallest and scariest rides and slides. I enjoyed the lovely voice of the Irish Donna Douglas. The Elly Mae Donna Douglas also did some singing, mainly gospel.
the tribe one is true. I fought against my vibe for most of my life thinking that I should fit in, never being told that there are others like me that I fit in with already. Once I realized that my life took on a whole new meaning and depth. It is a shame we don't help more young people realize this..
don't have much time now - i'll be back for some of those videos - they look interesting and by the way i love your blog - so positive and happy - and your quotes you post and the art....but need to get school clothes shopping done. see ya later.
"I admire people who chose to shine even after all the storms they have been through." How beautiful is that! I came by to visit with you earlier today and tried leaving a comment three times, but for some reason I kept deleting my own comment. Oooh silly me :-) I'm back and was successful, I'm doing the happy dance! It's always nice to visit and be inspired with the treasures you share. Bless you~ Debbie
I had no idea that horses blew bubbles in the water ~ just like kids in a bathtub! So many wise words in this post; but most important is "Life is precious." We simply can't take this miracle of life for granted. It can be gone in a heartbeat. And it's important to laugh, which is why I love those ridiculous gags, and the laughter when people figure out they've been had. Thanks so much for always bringing inspiration and happiness to me every day, dear Linda!
Please do not be shy! I appreciate your kind comments, they are sweet treasures and really make my day! Spammers, do not waste your time, I delete your comments and they do not even show on my blog. The horse video was interesting. I'd never seen that behavior in horses before. It must have been very hot and/or very buggy where they were.
ReplyDeleteLinda...the previous Anonymous comment was from Linda at To Behold the Beauty.
