Friday Fun
Hello everyone! A very warm welcome to you all! The videos I have selected for this post are: A Just for Laughs Gag/Juste pour Rire
Royal Canadian Air Farce - Canadian Moment
I love living in Canada and am proud to be a Canadian! Most of you already know that the Just for Laughs Gags that I post every day are done right here in Montreal, Quebec, Canada. The Royal Canadian Air Farce is a humorous TV show comprised of skits done on events happening in Canada. I think humour is so important, there is so much negativity and sadness in the world, I think it is good to be able to laugh at things that happen, and this show does exactly that! Enjoy! :)

For the following, I am providing the link sources beneath each photo. You just need to click on the images to see a larger view. Every smile makes you a day younger.
When everything goes wrong and things seem to fall apart when nobody believes in you and you feel alone and stranded that's exactly the moment you have to believe in yourself.
Hi Linda! I agree with you about humour. A bit of laughter often puts things into perspective. Loved the Royal Canadian Farce - so very true and Canadian. :) Hope all is well and you have a fun weekend planned. Gros bisous, mon amie!!!
Enjoyed the Just for Laughs Gags and the Royal Air Farce video on Canadian weather. The 2nd one just about describes conversations I've had at the bus stops. That is, if it isn't too cold to talk, lol (Ottawa winters and northern winters in days gone by). Have a great weekend, Linda. x
We ARE awesome, aren't we? Canadian humor is slightly different from American--at least it was back in the 80s, when there were some big movies out of there. Some of the best comedians we ever had came from Canada. Plus--you gave us Shania Twain!!! I live in Nashville and I love that she made country music cool for at least a little while...
Good morning, dear Linda! I enjoyed the Canadian Moment "Cold" sketch. it was very nicely executed and reminded us how much time we spend complaining and commiserating about something over which we have no control - the weather. I also enjoyed the vintage TV spot for Canada Dry Ginger Ale which aired during that golden era when soft drinks, beer, fast food and cigarettes were all good for you. :) I appreciated the tips on how to quickly and easily slice various fruits and remove pits and stems. I also learned from that demonstration how to neatly fold a shirt in two seconds.
Happy Friday, dear friend Linda, and have a wonderful weekend!
Goooooood morning Linda. I loved the funny videos especially the one about " It's Cold ". We Canadian can laugh and laugh at ourselves. Laughter is the thing that can help the world. By the way, our loving this election? Dah! These politicians are a joke. The only time they help us is when they want our vote. After that you never some them again until the next election. At least we don't have Trump running for Prime Minister. ha,ha,ha. Have a great Friday my friend. See ya.
i hadn't heard of the Royal Canadian Air Farce prior to reading your blog, but i do agree that we all need more laughter in our lives! and it's nice that we get a glimpse into canada through your blog, especially for those of us who haven't been to your country :)
Oh wow...a truly awesome collection, Linda! I can't tell you how these fabulous quotes give me the confidence I need every time I visit... Thank you...from the depths of my heart.:) xoxoxo
Loved the gag! and that Canadian Moment! "Cold enough for you?" I haven't heard that in forever, but it's so Canadian. I love Canada and am proud of Canada. Terry and I are exploring the Victoria area, and everyone is so polite and helpful. We played Bingo in Esquimalt yesterday, and it was obviously my first time. People cheered when I got a BINGO! Everyone was running over and helping me and giving me suggestions! Amazing! Have a lovely weekend, my Montreal friend!
