Sometimes you must accept when something is truly broken.  Instead of hoping to make it better choose to create something better.  If you try to fix it, you can get hurt.  The sooner you let go of what's broken the sooner you can begin anew.

Age doesn't define your maturity.  Grades don't define your intelligence.  Rumors don't define who you are.

People with good intentions make promises.  But people with good character keep them.

Don't confuse your path with your destination.  Just because you hit some rough patches, doesn't mean you're not on journey to a joyful place.

No matter how old you both get, never stop holding hands, never stop dancing, and never stop saying, "I love you."

The sun shines on everyone, it doesn't make choices.

Ten years from now, the things you are worried about today will probably seem insignificant, so don't waste another day worrying.

My brain is giving me the silent treatment today.

The whole world is a series of miracles, but we're so used to seeing them that we call them ordinary things. - Hans Christian Andersen

When you start each day with a grateful heart, light illuminates from within.

You can't force someone to see that you're worth it. They'll see it in the long run and you'll no longer be around.

Life begins at the end of your comfort zone.  "I feel so alive!"  :)

Jenny is the new kid in class...everybody hiss until you get used to her.  :)

Thank you all so much for visiting me here!  I always appreciate and enjoy reading your kind thoughts, which you are always welcome to share!

  1. Yes, never mind how old one may be. Reminds me of this video clip and the beautiful song...

  2. Another fun post, thank you Linda. The runner ducks were great. I enjoyed learning about them. I also felt good when the mantaray was set free. To see it swim freely after who knows how long the poor thing had been dealing with those fishing lines, was a joy to see.

  14. Oh, my brain gives me the silent treatment way to often! :) That was a neat video about the rescue of the giant manta ray. That thing was huge!

  15. Good morning, dear Linda!

I enjoyed today's animal videos. It was fun to watch and learn about Indian runner ducks. They eat bugs in the garden making it unnecessary to spray it with dangerous chemicals. It was interesting that they do not like to sit on their eggs and that other species of domestic fowl are used to hatch the eggs for them. I was relieved when the divers caught up with the giant manta ray and managed to cut the fishing lines off. Every creature deserves to live in freedom.

Thank you, dear friend Linda, and have a wonderful weekend!

  16. Thanks for the shares. Have a wonderful weekend.

  32. Happy Saturday Linda... I hope you are enjoying the day...

I like this quote: Age doesn't define your maturity. Grades don't define your intelligence. Rumors don't define who you are.

Mostly because I don't let age define who I am... otherwise I would be sitting in a chair and doing nothing... xox
