A Sincere and Heartfelt Thank You, and a New Poll!
Hello everyone! A very warm welcome to you all! Thank you all so much for your kind birthday wishes on my blog post yesterday! I can't begin to tell you how much your comments mean to me, and I am very grateful for all of you! Thanks again! I have added a new poll, this time I am asking your favourite social networking site. I am allowing you to vote for more than one, as many as you like to use. Thank you so much for taking the time to vote in my polls! I really appreciate it! :) The videos I have selected for this post are: A Just for Laughs Gag/Juste pour Rire
Dogs Being Used at Airports for Stress Relief
Let the Worry Bird Worry for You - Gloria de Haven (1951)
Sewing Basics: How to Make Fabric Napkins
Model Train of the Famous Sherman Hill Railroad
For the following, I am providing the link sources beneath each photo. You just need to click on the images to see a larger view. Do not overthink it. Breathe and have faith that all will work out for the very best.
I'm the kind of person who says 'hi' to dogs. (I had to laugh when I saw this because I do just that, and not only to dogs! Birds, squirrels, cats, horses, whatever animal I come across). :)
Good morning, dear Linda! Your happiness is mine and I couldn't be more overjoyed at the turnout of friends who came to wish you a happy birthday. You deserve all the love and praise you received.
I voted in your poll. My answer was easy because blogging is my passion. I have a YouTube account but its sole purpose is to enable me to upload videos of rare recordings for use on my blog. I think dogs at airports are a great idea. I would much rather reduce stress by petting a dog than to watch a flight attendant attempt a stand-up comedy routine to explain safety procedures. My uncle devoted the entire third floor of his row house to model trains and worked on them day and night for years. The model train in this video looked remarkably real as it passed by the stationary camera.
Happy belated Birthday, Linda! May joy, love and new discoveries brighten your days! Your post made me smile... and think... I like the quote about the rainbow and the stars.:)
Did you have a great time yesterday, Linda? Can't wait to see your birthday cake :) Don't think we have Ogilvy in England. But we do have Harrods in Malaysia :)
Dogs at airports to relieve stress...my goodness might for some, but those that don't care for dogs, might frighten them therefore making them more stressed.
i love the idea of having those wonderful dogs at airports for stress relief ... just looking at them and petting them would definitely make the time spent at the airport less aggravating, heh :)
Hi Linda, I’ve voted. I enjoy your polls as they are nice and easy. I also enjoyed the just for laugh's gag, especially the chap who got out of the car and started tapping out a rhythm on the guitar. Good for him!
Dogs are much sought after for their therapeutic power. I’m also the one who talks “hi” not only to critters but also to flowers. Thank you, Linda, for all the encouraging or inspiring quotes as always.
Great gag video. Love the Gloria De Haven video. The model train video was great it looked like a real train. Voted in your new poll. Have a blessed day.. Madeline
I'm so happy that you enjoyed your birthday and you go on until your next birthday. That's the way I look at it. Did you save me a piece of your birthday cake? ha,ha,ha. I've always enjoyed Model Trains and trains per say. The Tim Horton's part with the police was so funny. These policemen also need to get their coffee and donuts. Ha,ha,ha. Have a wonderful Wednesday my friend. See ya.
Ottimo, mi piacciono in modo particolare il primo clips (quello della chitarra) e la vignetta della mucca indifferente. Buon proseguimento di settimana.
I think your results may be biased, since "my blog" is winning by FAR! If you asked people on your Facebook or Twitter accounts, they'd probably answer your Facebook/your Twitter!
Hi Stephanie, I don't think so, because if people are honest they will say what they prefer no matter where they are! I have a Facebook account and have mentioned over there on numerous occasions that I prefer my blog to Facebook. I wonder if Mark Zuckerberg has seen it. LOL! I know they are trying to compete with Google. :)
Thanks for the laughs! It is good to know I am not the only one who greets animals. They all know I am there so it would be rude not to acknowledge them.
Your Canada pictures make me laugh! Back in Toronto, we'd always say that any police car with its sirens on was on a "Tim's Run". There doesn't seem to be an equivalent here in Berlin.
I'm so happy you had a good birthday, Linda. You really deserve it, my dear friend!:) Thank you so much for brightening up my days...can't begin to tell you how much that means...:)) xoxoxo
Please do not be shy! I appreciate your kind comments, they are sweet treasures and really make my day! Spammers, do not waste your time, I delete your comments and they do not even show on my blog. Comment moderation is enabled. I do hope that Blogger's changes in the way of proving that you are not a robot do not deter you from commenting! Thank you so much! If you have Google+ and are only allowing Google+ users to comment on your blog, I do not have, nor do I want it. And if you use DISQUS for accepting comments on your blog I don't have that, either, nor do I want it. Thanks!
The pools are fun, Thanks for having them.

Dogs can to so much to lessen stress. Yes indeed.

Would it be un-Canadian of me to admit I never go into Tim Horton's?
