Friday Shares and a New Poll!
Hello everyone! A very warm welcome to you all! I just added a new poll, which you will find on the upper right hand column of my blog. I am asking what your favourite colour (or colours) are for a bathroom. You can choose more than one colour, as per your taste! Thank you so much for taking the time to vote in my polls. :) The videos I have selected for this post are: A Just for Laughs Gag/Juste pour Rire
Little Badger Cub is a Real Fighter!
Home Made Fabric Softener
Canon in D - Different Light Studio and Healing Harp Melodies
Microsoft Monopoly - Royal Canadian Air Farce (I found this hilarious!) :)
For the following, I am providing the link sources beneath each photo. You just need to click on the images to see a larger view. Letting go of unhappy thoughts and memories is an act of self care.
I once had a garden filled with flowers which grew only on dark thoughts. But they needed constant attention and one day I woke up and realized I had better things to do.
Sometimes it feels better not to talk. About anything. To anyone. It's freeing just to sit quietly with pen in hand, and write it all out in a journal.
There IS always something to be grateful for! I was giving a friend an update on my son's condition and he said, "is that supposed to be GOOD news?" Every small step in the right direction is a celebration. Mercy comes in small bites.
Love all the quotes -i always relate to them -...will skip the videos tonight but will take a look tomorrow - yawn - sleeping is coming and soon....i took your poll which was unexpected and fun - i like what you come up with for questions...I chose purple and green - would love a bathroom decorated in those colors - as it is mine is beige and then cream - with trim done in Blah... but it wasn't my choice - but my landlords. Linda your blog is so uplifting - even if i don't make it here every day. it's something to look forward to when i do.thanks for being an uplifting presence in blog world.
Good morning, dear Linda! I voted in your latest poll and enjoyed today's videos. It made me happy to see the badger cub responding to care, love and food and bouncing back from life threatening illness. I took note of the recipe for homemade fabric softener. Seems like white vinegar is an all purpose household cleaning product much the same as baking soda. Canon in D was used as meditation music in my motivational seminars. I agree that the Microsoft Monopoly sketch was spot on hilarious.
That cash register gag might easily get someone killed here in the US where everyone seems to be carrying a gun! Don't think I've ever seen a badger. Wishing you a wonderful weekend.
Loved this post as always! The Microsoft Monopoly video was so much fun. How I miss the crazy Monopoly games I had growing up! Have a happy Friday, Linda! You always make my day!
Hello, Linda! How do you manage to find always such wonderful thoughts and lovely images? Pachelbel's Canon is... always gorgeous. Have a lovely weekend!
Like as usual especially your quotes. My favourite of today is "Do what is right and not what is easy." This is so true and thanks for that. xx from Bavaria/Germany, Rena www.dressedwithsoul.com
Isn't that so true about weeds and flowers. My whole hillside is technically weeds (all natural plants that is), but to me they make a beautiful natural garden. - Margy
Wow! Just for laugh...it's kind of scary...I may drop the whole cash tray. I love Canon in D, my daughter played it on piano. It kind of interesting to hear the music in different instruments. Very nice collection of quotes.
