Fulfilling Friday

Hello everyone!  A very warm welcome to you all! The videos I have selected for this post are:

A Just for Laughs Gag/Juste pour Rire

Air France Safety Demonstration

How to Train Elephants with Love

Hawaiian Crown Chocolate - Whole Foods Market

Mr. Bean - Hiding Steak Tartare

For the following, I am providing the link sources beneath each photo.  You just need to click on the images to see a larger view.

It's your road, and yours alone.  Others may walk it with you, but no one can walk it for you. - Rumi

Move at whatever pace you can today...remember, even small moves can have huge gains!

The anxiety cure:  breathe in love, exhale fear. Relax.

Your fears are not walls, they are hurdles. - Dan Millman

When you feel defensive, instead of saying the first thing that comes to mind, pause.  Breathe.  Wait. Don't say anything until your heart has softened. Even if it takes hours.

Every positive thought is a silent prayer which will change your life. - Bryant McGill

No matter how hard life can get, go to bed grateful you still have one.

How to stay happy:  get enough sleep, go for your dreams, love your body, live in the moment, accept what you can't change.  Think big!  Eat healthy foods. Think positively. Ask for help if you need it. Don't worry.  Enjoy every single day.

Depression is a serious illness, just like diabetes or heart disease.  Expecting positive thinking to cure depression is like expecting a person with diabetes to lower his blood sugar level by thinking happy thoughts.

Gratitude is an attitude.  Saying thank you is more than just good manners.

Relax.

The food you eat can be the safest and most powerful form of medicine.

Thank you all so much for visiting me here!  I always appreciate and enjoy reading your kind thoughts, which you are always welcome to share!

  10. Oh Linda...how I've missed you (have been having a connection problem, and can only hope this actually reaches you today!)
    Wow what a wonderful collection!
"Move at whatever pace", and "Depression is a serious illness" honestly spoke to me today. They were exactly what I needed to hear.
Also...Mr. Bean...well...lifted my spirits...injected some much needed laughter.
    Thank you so, so much!

  15. Good morning Linda. It's getting very cold in Amherstburg. What's it like in Montreal? I really enjoyed everything in your blog this morning. Mr. Bean, he's amazing. The most important statement was , " No matter how hard life can get, go to bed grateful you still have one." That's amazing.
Have a beautiful Friday my friend. See ya.

  25. Hi, dear Linda! Those fake police officers made motorists laugh with glee with their foot to the groin prank. It seems like every airline is joining the movement to ease passenger anxiety by means of funny and/or entertaining safely presentations. The training of elephants or any other creatures, including humans, is best done with patience, kindness and love. Mr. Bean is always funny but, at the same time, a tragic figure because he is such a loner. I feel compassion for him.

Thank you, dear Linda, and have a wonderful weekend!
