Tuesday Choices
Hello everyone! A very warm welcome to you all! The videos I have selected for this post are: A Just for Laughs Gag/Juste pour Rire
Samsung UHD Demo - Nature
On Feeling Melancholy
Turtle Pond
For the following, I am providing the link sources beneath each photo. You just need to click on the images to see a larger view. No matter how long you have traveled in the wrong direction, you always have the chance to turn it all around.
Positive people have negative thoughts, too. They just don't allow those thoughts to grow too big. And they make sure to stop them from following them around all day.
As you get older, you will start to understand more and more that in life, it's not about what you look like or what you own. It's all about the person you've become.
Mistakes happen by situation, not by intention. Always try to know the reason behind every mistake of your loved ones. That's the way to value a relationship.
i appreciated that interesting video on feeling melancholy ... since it's a feeling i do get from time to time, but thankfully, it doesn't last too long :)
I agree with Adam, the health bill one is very true! Loved this post, Linda. The "No matter how long you have traveled in the wrong direction, you always have the chance to turn it all around." quote was wonderful. Sometimes mistakes in my past haunt me! It's nice to know there is always hope! Have a happy Tuesday!
Thank you, Linda. Today's offerings were enjoyable. The photo portion in particular had some profound pieces regarding staying present and living in the now. A struggle for sure, but worth the effort. When I stay present I am more aware of what I am setting to mind for tomorrow's memories.
O, was so waiting for your post today ... yes, I know about the power of smiles ... practise it every morning, when I come from work ... picture that ... night owl smiling ... anyway ... 2335 hrs here ... got 2 go 2 work ... and smile ... and give love to my peeps ... hope u have a good nite, L ... Love, cat.
Great choices also today, Linda! Thank you! This time I noticed especially: "Live for what today has to offer, not for what yesterday has taken away." Remembering that, so many people would have a better life.
Hello Linda and thank you for stopping by my blog : ) I have visited here but I am remiss in leaving comments, sorry. I love all your quotes ! The first one is my favorite ! May I take it over to my blog ? ... I think I NEED it there : ) Thanks ! Take care girl Joy
What a wonderfully inspiring way to start my day with your lovely choice of quotes. I especially love:
'If you don't leave your past in the past, it will destroy your future. Live for what today has to offer, not for what yesterday has taken away.'
and will try my very best to accomplish this, keeping it in mind whenever I may find myself getting off track and taking two steps back into the past, and not forward into the future!
Good morning, dear Linda! I enjoyed today's videos. That fake blind man always makes me laugh. Blind or not, he's lucky he didn't get popped in the snoot by one of those passersby. I was astonished by the clarity of the Samsung nature demo. Did you see that multi-colored lizard? In my human potential seminar series I learned that happiness is overrated and that we can handle melancholy by demystifying it, stop struggling against it, accept is as a normal part of life, and believe that it does indeed help our development. I enjoyed the scenes at the turtle pond. I wish videos like that provided only the natural sound of the wildlife and the water and avoided the music track. I don't need music to help me enjoy the wonder of nature.
I often call upon that first saying about the "wrong direction" to my writing friends. It works for that, too. You may have written half a book and realized it's gone in the wrong direction, but it's always better to go back and start over than to keep going in the wrong direction!
There's a lot in here, but all are true, esp the quotations! i love this part:
"As you get older, you will start to understand more and more that in life, it's not about what you look like or what you own. It's all about the person you've become."
Thank you so much, Linda...these are outstanding! How on earth do you manage to find so many ways to inspire us all...each and every day? You really are such a treasure.:) xoxoxo
Please do not be shy! I appreciate your kind comments, they are sweet treasures and really make my day! Spammers, do not waste your time, I delete your comments and they do not even show on my blog.
