Thursday Thrills
Hello everyone! A very warm welcome to you all! The videos I have selected for this post are:
Justin Trudeau's New Cabinet The Most Diverse In Canadian History (you do not have to be knowledgeable in Canadian politics to appreciate this video) I am very happy for Justin Trudeau and I wish him and the entire government the best.
A Just for Laughs Gag/Juste pour Rire
Celtic Highlands Music - Scottish Isles
House of the Week: Cave House in Arizona
Underground House (into the hill) (Traditional Swiss Instruments March)
For the following, I am providing the link sources beneath each photo. You just need to click on the images to see a larger view. If they breathe they live. If they live they feel. If they feel they love. If they love they are aware. If they are aware they have a soul. - A.D. Williams
Don't let the darkness of your past block the light of joy in your present. What happened is done. Stop giving time to things that no longer exist when there is so much joy to be found in the here and now.
i've read some really good things about justin trudeau, and he sounds like that rare politician with a lot of integrity and a genuinely positive vision ... it seems like an exciting time to be canadian! :)
Good morning, Linda! It is always a treat to visit you and your blog. I enjoyed the funny bike video. And the houses are cool. Beautiful inspiring quotes. Happy Thursday, enjoy your day!
Hi, Linda! Loved those two homes - one underground, the other in a cave! Hope this finds you doing well, and enjoying the day. Your blog is always so full of inspiration and wisdom! hugs, de
Ha, ha! It was fun to read the thoughts of the people in the gag, as they watched that big, tough-looking guy get on that pink, girly bicycle and ride away. The cave house looked interesting. I'd like to see that in person.
Hello Linda, I wonder if it would be possible to move to Canada – it sounds like my kind of place! Love the gag, you do find the funniest things. The cave house is amazing but I’m not sure I could sleep under all that rock.
Linda, your choice of quotes and illustrations always make me feel so much better about myself! Thank you for searching out all the sensational stuff that brings light and energy to your readers!
I stuck my hand in Linda's Treasure Chest of Goodies and pulled out the video on cave house in Bisbee. Wow, what a place. My father lived in Tombstone Arizona which was about ...hmmm..i think 20 miles or so from Bisbee. I've visited there often in the past. Stirred up some good memories.
Dear Linda happy that Canada seems to have such a diverse cabinet. Wishing your wonderful country the best in the coming year. Enjoyed hearing that lovely Celtic music. It always calls to my heart because I am part Scottish. Have a super day. Hugs!
I've heard good things about Trudeau. I love that diversity is FINALLY making its way into leadership here, too. An African-American President, then maybe a female President. I honestly didn't think I'd see it in my lifetime, but things have really moved forward in recent years...gay marriage, marijuana legalization. Minds are really opening up here!!!
Good evening Linda, I find myself always navigating right to the beautiful quotes you share. Beautiful post, as always. Thank you so much for visiting, It is really enjoyable, and interesting for me to know what others see in a painting... Thank you so much. blessings, Penny
Love the quote about a cheerful heart filling the day with a song. I also like the "Never give up" one. One of my favorite quotes is Clemenceau's "In war, as in peace, the last word goes to those who never give up."
Justin Trudeau is charismatic!...wow, he is so young! Today's Just for laugh is so cute! I love the quotes you have chosen for this post. Be patient...I love that...although it's tough to be patient.
Thanks for visiting Linda. Great to know another Canadian, having known so many who are really kind and helpful. I love your well designed blog. Nice homely feeling to it.
I loved the quote "she was unstoppable." That was beautiful - do you know who wrote that, and may I share it on my blog someday? And I love the "kindness" quote and will pass it on to Jess, as she has a lot of kindness in her always. I like the "be patient" quote too.
Thanks for encouraging and for shining your light, Linda.

Among other things, I like that our new minister of national defence has been an active soldier with tours of duty. I wouldn't like to mess with him!

ReplyDeleteI like the quote about quick fixes - it's very true.
We were just having a conversation about keeping away from negative people. With my hubby's cancer, we enjoy each day and laugh a lot!

Are they any blind people in the Cabinet?

For they can't see how wonderful this world really is.

Justin Trudeau is something of a rock star here in Australia. Women here love the fact that half his cabinet are women.
