Tuesday Cheer and a New Translator...Again
Hello everyone! A very warm welcome to you all! I have removed the translator I had added the other day and changed it for one that will translate in more languages. I hope this will help any of you who need and use it. Thank you so much! :) The videos I have chosen for this post are: A Just for Laughs Gag/Juste pour Rire
Meet Koko's New Kittens
Organize a Small Pantry - Under $20
Mr. Bean - Arriving at the Launderette
For the following, I am providing the link sources beneath each photo. You just need to click on the images to see a larger view. Sorry! Out getting a fresh coat of wax on my broom.
What to do when anxiety makes you feel like a failure: 1. Maintain Perspective...life may feel hopeless today, but it is because of a mental illness that distorts your thoughts, feelings and physical reactions. The hopeless feeling will pass.
2. Stay Productive...productivity is relative. Some days, being productive means getting out of bed. Keep track of even the small wins.
3. Be patient with yourself...anxiety is a disease that tell you that you don't have a disease. Anxiety says you are a failure. Remember that anxiety lies. - Greg Weber
When it is all finished you will see it was never random. In the meantime, have faith all is happening for a reason. Look for the lesson, the gift, the bridge you are to take to get yourself where you need to be.
Relax now, rest, let go of trying to manage the universe...does your heart need your help in order to beat? Do you need to take thought in order to breathe? Surrender to the higher intelligence that breathes you and that operates the whole universe.
I had to laugh at the gag video because the pranked people were partly screaming and partly laughing as the stunt man zoomed away on his rollerblades. I have seen other videos of Koko the gorilla. It's incredible how docile the powerful beast is and gentle with fragile kittens. Their bond is touching. I never grow tired of watching organizing tips because I always learn something new. Mrs. Shady and I shop at a Dollar Tree a few blocks away and plan to load up on those baskets and other space savers. It's always fun to watch Mr. Bean, a man who has the odds stacked against him, Bean never fails to make us laugh at his misfortune.
Your polls are such a delight and I always look forward to them. They remind me of the fun multiple choice quizzes that ladies magazines used to run (some still do, but they're nowhere near as common these days).
Thank you for another fantastic roundup and reminder of some of the most important lessons and outlooks we can have in life.
I'm busy telling myself a revised story of my life today. I think that might help! I've also got a nice pair of roller blades but at my age broken bones are not a good thing, so they're put away in the attic. Mr. Bean - what fun. In fact, I just bought one of his movies. Watching that is a great way to end a busy, hectic day!
" There is drama and there is peace. I choose peace. " and boy do I agree with that one. Good morning Linda. Hope that you're feeling good today. Mr. Bean was a gas. What a laughable man. Have a great Tuesday my friend. See ya.
it's cool to see a mr bean video here! i remember watching some of his shows with my family back when i was a teenager ... but i know he's not as popular in north america as he is in some other parts of the world :)
Linda, I like the "paying bills" quote and "no matter where you are" quote, but my favorite was the "I choose peace" quote. I think I will write that one down. Such encouraging words always, my friend.
Have a blessed week, and I'm glad you liked my red kitchen.
I really like the story about how one season must cease to make room for a new season! LOVE IT! thank you so much for the encouragement today, and every day, Linda! xoxox
Hi, Linda! I often shared a video on Koko and kittens with my students over the years. And the gag and Mr. Bean made me laugh. I've lived long enough to begin to see the patterns in my life and to know that most bad things turn out to be good things in the long run. And yes, I've had those bad days of depression and anxiety when just getting out of bed was a major accomplishment; but I know they will pass. thanks for another funny and inspiring post that made me smile and feel grateful, dear friend!
Thanks for stopping by my blog. Your own is filled with warmth and encouragement.
We love Montreal. We live in northwest Vermont, just a short drive from the city. It has become an important part of our lives over the past few years, and not just because of IKEA.

It's always fun watching the people in the JFL gags, and today was no exception. A touching video about Koko and her kittens, too.
ReplyDeleteBelos vídeos e bom trabalho.

I think have to add one more to when anxiety makes you feel like a failure:
ReplyDelete-avoid negative people
