Wednesday Wishes
Hello everyone! A very warm welcome to you all! The videos I have selected for this post are: A Just for Laughs Gag/Juste pour Rire
Cat's Den Enclosure Niagara Falls Ontario - Walking up to Tree House
Whispering - Comedian Harmonists (1934)
Little Egret - Bird Call - Bird Song
For the following, I am providing the link sources beneath each photo. You just need to click on the images to see a larger view. Be delighted by life!
I choose to be unstoppable. I am bigger than my concerns and worries. The strength of others inspire me daily. I focus on my goal. I trust my intuition and live a courageous life.
Cherish who you are today. Believe in who you can become. Don't judge who you might have been. Everything you go through helps to make you everything awesome you're becoming.
That gag video was one of the funniest ever. Imagine someone walking up to you in a food mall, handing you money, taking your meal and eating it at a nearby table. Hilarious! It was amazing to watch the kitty make his way through that long enclosure to the tree house. He must have walked a mile to get there! I never heard of the Comedian Harmonists but enjoyed their barbershop harmonies. Music has changed quite a bit since 1934, hasn't it? When it rains in my vicinity, water collects in a culvert at the edge of our lawn. Egrets can be seen wading in search of food. It was a joy to hear the Egret's call.
We have egrets here, a lot once...not so many now but the sound they make, I think, is quite awful, not quite the regular sweet sounds that birds make. I blogged about one here: https://suituapui.wordpress.com/2012/11/24/looking-for-love/
Hello Linda, lovely post. I think when people raise their voice they are afraid of losing control over the situation. How nice if everyone remembers to improve their argument instead of raising their voice. Have a lovely day!
Terrific selections! This might not come as an epic surprise :), but my favourite entry in this post is the 1930s video of harmonists. How cool is that! And to think, my maternal grandma, who is still (thank the universe) with us was just four years old when it was recorded.
Big hugs & joyful start of November wishes, ♥ Jessica
The "There is a calmness to a life lived in gratitude, a quiet joy" quote is beautiful and so true. Loved the guy who wouldn't let his food be taken in the gag video--pretty funny!
The gag is a riot. Sometimes I wonder how they get by with the things they do. And the kitty...that was a very long walk. Kitties are very cautious animals...watching every step. Nice post today, as always!
Well today is the day that our new prime minister is put and his group of new ministers. I hope that they do a great job but I worry every time this happens they let me down but we'lll see what happens.
I enjoyed your blog and its interesting things especially the laugh. Have a wonderful Wednesday Linda. See ya.
the video on the prankster purchasing food from the other customers at the food court is hilarious ... if it happened to me, i'd be totally amused and bewildered too :D
Haha Hahaha ..... I really have a good laugh to your movies. This in your last post with which eat away was another hoot hahahaha ..... it'll just happen. I also read a lot of beautiful text spells and a few taken there;-) Kind regards, Helma
Good stuff Linda. Not sure about the memories staying the same though. Some people's stories about the past improve with each telling (the fish gets bigger and bigger, the snow they walked through gets deeper .... )
Great messages today Linda. BTW I find the places to visit on my blog on personal recommendations or positive reviews on the Internet. I do my research before I visit to try to avoid negative experiences. I also have a policy of 'looking for the good' and highlighting what we most enjoyed. Not all places have it 100% together, but if we focus on the positives (not just food, in life too) I find the good grows - so our goal - "Grow the good, by celebrating it." ;-)
Please do not be shy! I appreciate your kind comments, they are sweet treasures and really make my day! Spammers, do not waste your time, I delete your comments and they do not even show on my blog. Comment moderation is enabled. I do hope that Blogger's changes in the way of proving that you are not a robot do not deter you from commenting! Thank you so much! If you have Google+ and are only allowing Google+ users to comment on your blog, I do not have, nor do I want it. And if you use DISQUS for accepting comments on your blog I don't have that, either, nor do I want it. Thanks!
C'est très beau!

ReplyDeleteLoved the gag. That was fun.
ReplyDeleteOh the enclosed walk and tree house for the cat was an excellent idea.
Egrets when in bunches sounds like people talking. Most disconcerting. We have many at our marina.
