Saturday Sunshine
Hello everyone! A very warm welcome to you all! The videos I have chosen for this post are: Mr. Bean - Judo Class
Half Zebra, Half Horse - It's a Zorse
Scandinavian Folk Dance - Fryksdahl Polska
Travel Lightly - Bernward Koch
For the following, I am providing the link sources beneath each photo. You just need to click on the images to see a larger view. I'm not bossy. I just know what you should be doing.
Storms may blow but your roots will grow deeper. You might get wounded but your light will stream brighter through the broken places. Your tiara might get a little tangled but nothing can dim your inner sparkle!
Don't take anything personally. Nothing others do is because of you. What others say and do is a projection of their own reality, their own dreams. When you are immune to the opinions and actions of others, you won't be the victim of needless suffering.
Much of the pain in life comes from having a life plan that you've fallen in love with and when it doesn't work out, you become angry that you now have to pursue a new life plan. If you want to tame your inner demons, you must not become too attached to any particular life plan, and remain open to there being an even better, happier life plan.
Hi Linda, Happy New Year! I hope you have a fabulous 2016. I burst out laughing when I read the first graphic. It reminds me of some people i know, lol. Have a great weekend. xx
HeHe! I like the saying...I'm not bossy..! I have one of my own... "I'm not a control freak, l just happen to be a highly~driven, focused, motivated, extraordinary and inspiring leader, and yes you may take time out to listen to my advice, and, no, you may not do things your way".
Good morning Linda. It's amazing that in Amherstburg, we haven't had any snow yet and the temperature is in the 40's. It's January 9th. It should be cold with snow. Oh well.
Oh, I have a friend who is so "I'm not bossy; I just know what you should be doing." That one definitely gave me a smile. I loved the Zorse video. The markings on that animal are amazing.
I really enjoyed watching the Scandinavian dance! All of my great-grandparents came to the USA from either Sweden or Norway. When I was little I was in St. Lucia pageants every Christmas. The music in the video was so upbeat and had hints of familiarity for me. Thanks for sharing it.
Mr. Bean! What a character. I like the Scandinavian folk dancers, too. And the quotes are great. I used one this morning. But I'm not telling which one! :) Have a great day!
The Mr. Bean video was quite funny. Interesting video on the half horse half zebra. Enjoyed the folk dance video. The scenery in the travel lightly video was beautiful. Great quotes. Have a blessed day. Madeline
I saw that tree fainting one at Christmas and even ended up quoting it several times! There was also one with the same picture that said, "You mean I can't even bring a stick into the house and you brought a whole tree?"
Linda - just a gorgeous video of Bernward Koch. Laughed when I saw the photo of the dog and the tree fainting - that just made my day. As always such a delight to visit. Your quotes are so wonderful too. Princess Sassy seems to have quite a bit of wisdom for me. Hugs!
Hi, Linda! I especially like the quote about being content with what we can do rather than concentrating on what we can no longer do. Hopefully your weekend is pleasing! XXOO
While I don't agree with breeding Zebras and domestic equines- the result is lovely. Here's a FB page about a Zonkey (zebra x donkey) that was rescued from a kill pen. https://www.facebook.com/Zuul-the-Kill-Pen-Zonkey-1521140381511799/?fref=ts
