Winter Wonders Wednesday and a New Poll!
Hello everyone! A very warm welcome to you all! I have added a new poll, which you will find on the upper right hand column of my blog, just beneath the translator! Thank you so much for taking the time to vote in my polls. :) The videos I have selected for this post are: The Party - Peter Sellers (Birdie Num Num)
Puppyhood
Different Types of Scrapbooks - Scrapbooking
How to Understand a Long Range Forecast
I am providing the link sources beneath each photo. You just need to click on the images to see a larger view. A light like yours can't go out. And even though I can't see you, when I look at twinkling stars, I know you are still shining somewhere too.
It's okay if you get a little tangled in your tree sometimes. Drink a cup of hot co-coa-coa, bundle up your mistletoes...and fa-la-la love yourself anyway!
Don't let the fear of your challenges overwhelm you. Face towards your challenges head on. You're stronger than you realize. Plus your challenges will help you to strengthen your emotional muscles in new, exciting ways.
The Party is one of those movies that make me laugh so hard I can't breathe. The whole movie is hysterical. When he floods the bathroom is one of the best scenes in any movie, ever.
There's a saying..... Eat like a King in the morning.. A Queen at lunch time... And, a knave at night...! So yes! Breakfast is the most important meal of the day...Never start without it!
Rest your mind so you can hear the whispers of your heart has got to be hands down what I needed to read this morning! I enjoy looking and reading your tidbits! Hugs and blessings, Cindy
I think when I have children, one of their eventual Christmas presents will be a puppy. They would get one eventually anyway, but I think they'd enjoy that Christmas more years later in memory
Peter Sellers often brought a smile to my face...especially in "The Pink Panther" movies. Breakfast...I do like it and feel it's important but don't always have it often as I should.
... never drink coffee, my precious friend ... as it destroys Ur bones, gives U a temporary high, and attributes to lumps in Ur breasts ... I had that happen, and since I stopped drinking coffee, no more scary lumps ... smiles ... I don't eat breakfast either so I drink it by mixing up different fruits and vegetables ... Love, cat.
A very enjoyable post Linda. I liked your poll and always answer them. I'm one of those who believe breakfast is the most important meal of the day, though have to admit there are times when I forget to have one and it is sometimes way past lunch time when I realize. My mother-in-law used to say, "Eat breakfast like a king, lunch like a prince and dinner like a pauper" :) I was a big Pink Panther fan back in the day and sometimes wonder if I would still find it as funny. Thanks for the videos and love the quotes.
Hi Linda! I'm sitting in the Phoenix airport waiting for my flight to board. We've been visiting friends here since Saturday. I've been having a blast learning to play pickle ball and hiking in the White Tank Mountains among all the spectacular Sonoran desert vegetation ~ like the magnificent saguaro cactus! But home is going to look so good. I hope that you have been having a great week in Montreal. I'll be catching up on your posts in the next few days when I am home. Sending you hugs and love!
I was especially interested in the long-range weather forecasting Linda. I was hoping it was a spoof on how useless they are but maybe we all know that? Put me down for a proper breakfast of fruit, cereal and toast followed by a big fry-up. Nothing else required until 1800 hours.
Oh, there are some really good ones on here today, Linda. I especially liked "a light like yours can't go out," and "Rest your mind," and "Be patient. Your rainbow is coming." Rainbows are very special to me, and not sure if I mentioned to you or not, but I believe when we see them it is a gift. Thank you for the gift of a rainbow on your blog today, my friend. And have a beautiful day yourself.
Hi Linda, Happy New Year to you. I enjoyed all the graphics and sayings today. Sorry I do not have time for the videos. I am trying to limit computer time these days to focus on healthy habits the New Year (I will still be on line just not as often). Much love and peace to you in 2016 :-)
Fabulous roundup, Linda dear. Have you ever seen one of those reindeer antler bedecked buses in person? I have in at least a couple of different Canadian cities. They're so cute and festive! I wish they'd dress up the buses for other holidays, too - how cool would that be!?
THE PARTY is the Hollywood Comedy I do prefer, absolutely, bless you ! I've watched this film so many times that I cannot remember, this is our New Years Eve film for so many years :) !! Thank you for having made me laugh once more, your post are always little pills of so good spirit, my darling Linda, sending much love with so much gratitude to you, have a wonderful remainder of your Sunday and start of the new week ahead, thinking of you Dany
