Mid-Week Thoughts
Hello everyone! A very warm welcome to you all! The videos I have chosen for this post are: Dean Martin, Ted Knight and Tim Conway - The Bar
London Based Coffee Carts Help the Homeless
For the following, I am providing the link sources beneath each photo. You just need to click on the images to see a larger view. I think of the trees and how simply they let go. Is this a key? Imitate the trees. Learn to let go in order to recover. Remember that nothing stays the same for long, not even pain, psychic pain. Let it go. Let it all pass. - May Sarton
Deano for the win big time! Gosh, was he awesome. So charismatic, charming and wildly talented. Thank you for including some vintage in today's post. I definitely appreciated it.
Linda, you have chosen some very beautiful and meaningful quotes like "Hard times will always reveal true friends" and "True peace comes from within". Have a beautiful day!
Really enjoyed the bar video, and always appreciate your positive quotes and the encouragement they provide! The kitties are lovely too :) Thank you Linda, Happy Day to you, wishing you well :)
Enjoyed the videos. Dean Martin was one of my favorite singer and actor. The coffee for the homeless was great. Great quotes. Have a blessed day. Madeline
Each and every one of your sayings is so true, especially these ones -- imitate the trees and let go. Absolutely lovely quotes and pictures, and important life lessons.
I don't remember ever having seen that particular clip with Dean Martin, Tim Conway, and Ted Knight. Too funny. Tim Conway is something else, isn't he?
Hi Linda! Thank you very much for your concern and nice comment. That means a lot!
The three characters in that first video were always some of my favorites. They were each one very talented. Tim Conway probably made me laugh the hardest, but who can forget Ted Knight on the MTM show? And Martin was always great to watch, whether doing standup or in a movie.
We are inundated with Starbucks in this country (and other countries also, from what I hear) but Starbucks coffee is way too strong for me and their food is merely heated up cardboard! :) Just kidding. I thought of a name for the business in the video - Mooncups - a cup will make you glow! :)
Hard times do reveal true friends. I’m often surprised by how wonderful people can be and never more so than when times are tough. Thanks for this lovely selection. x
loved your place ,your theme writing above and your post ,really impressive and interesting videos and pics which hold the eye for while and lovely words of wisdom which touch the heart with depth ,have a long healthy active life each moment dear god bless you
So true, I always wanted to be a tree, my favorite book to read to my children is the giving tree. I recently learn that there is this thing called green burial, where you can asked to have your ashes planted with a seed and grow into a tree, that is something really cool, my dream might come true someday!
You always put a bright smile on my face when I come here and visit you, my wonderful friend, I'm so very grateful to you for this ! I don't know why I'm not receiving your feed anymore, I thought you weren't blogging, in fact .... !!!!
Enjoy the remainder of your week, sweetie, sending muchlove to you
I'm guessing that you love cats because of the cat artwork you display. We've got a cat that is rapidly declining and I will miss her. Thanks for more inspirational words which are always appreciated and needed.
Just stumbled upon your blog... so happy I did! Loved the post that spoke on the meaning of true friendship. Having recently been faced with the task of making some unwanted life altering decisions, I was blessed with the reminder of what true friendship is all about. Love that Dean Martin/Ted Knight/Tim Conway bit... three comedy legends right there, proving the use of profanity and off color remarks aren't a necessity in order to create lasting and timeless comedy... that and I'll watch anything that has Ted Knight in it! ;) Look forward to checking in with your blog again soon. :)
Please do not be shy! I appreciate your kind comments, they are sweet treasures and really make my day! Spammers, do not waste your time, I delete your comments and they do not even show on my blog. The tree here has wisdom. Thanks for that and the other nice ones too. Shalom/peace to you!

So nice, those coffee carts. Always good to lend a hand to the less fortunate.

Love the graphic about forgiveness - it says it differently but still calls us to forgive! Beautiful. Hope all is well by you!
