Monday Choices
Hello everyone! A very warm welcome to you all! The videos I have selected for this post are: Escape to Monkey Island
Villa Oasis - Turks and Caicos Islands
For the following, I am providing the link sources beneath each photo. You just need to click on the images to see a larger view. There's always something to be grateful for and something good coming. (Please remember that!)
Good morning, Linda! I enjoyed the videos. It would be nice to be somewhere tropical right now. I love the quote about being grateful for troubles you DO NOT have. Thanks for sharing. Happy Monday, enjoy your new week ahead!
That is profoundly true about there always being something to be grateful for and something positive coming around the corner. That has been a guiding philosophy of mine since childhood.
Hello dear Linda! HAPPY TUESDAY! Thank you for visiting my post, and thank YOU for the lovely reminders here. It is better to focus on what we have and do not have in terms of woes....I need this reminder daily, and here I am before I go into the workplace, where challenges rise every day.
Hello Linda! Thank you for visiting my post. I like all the sayings that you put up here to remind us to appreciate our every day life and friends and family.
Hi Linda! Thanks for the good reminders to be grateful for all we have. I have a saying up in my kitchen: "There is no such thing as gratitude unexpressed. If it is unexpressed, it is plain, old-fashioned ingratitude." - Robert Brault Sometimes I need that reminder to tell people (and to tell God) THANK YOU! :)
I was going to e mail you but when I went into my contacts you weren't there. Then I realized that I only had four contacts! Not sure what happened to you and everyone else. ??
I just wanted to thank you for your comment on my blog tonight. I know Elaine Aron says 1/20 are HS but I have never actually met anyone that it. There are those that I have suspected but not sure as they had never heard of Elaine Aron and her research.
Anyway, I am saying thank you because it is hard being HS and living in this body and very, very few people understand. I have come to the conclusion that the trait is beneficial to a lot of OTHER people because we are so caring and aware and sensitive. But it isn't always beneficial to ourselves. It can be very, very hard and very, very awful. Knowing that there isn't actually something wrong with me makes a difference.
My whole life people have been telling me that I am "too sensitive". Not one of my clients has ever said that to me! (Again with this trait benefiting others.) I have on occasion replied with, "No, you are just not sensitive enough", but I don't like to be unkind so keep it to myself. But I am 100% convinced that if there were more people were sensitive the world would be a much better place. If everyone was we would have no wars and anger and hate. The world would be a beautiful place.
Haha..."Escape to Monkey Island" was amazing! Co-incidentally, my son wrote a story called Monkey Island when he was small...and this brought all those poignant memories flooding back!:)) These quotes are wonderful too...all of them...make my day beautiful...:)

Or instead of being thankful for all the troubles we don't have, maybe just enjoy the good we do have.
