Weekend Shares
Hello everyone! A very warm welcome to you all! The videos I have chosen for this post are: How Friendship Changed Everything for a Blind Goat Named Marcia
Create a Relaxing Bedroom Retreat
For the following, I am providing the link sources beneath each photo. You just need to click on the images to see a larger view. Keep walking through the storm...your rainbow is waiting on the other side.
There will be some days when you think "I just can't win!" But, you must stop, take a look around at all of the good in your life and say "Yes! I certainly am winning!"
Hello Linda Due to illness, I now no longer read my blog long, now I am happy to be back and be able to view your wonderful pictures, poems and videos. I wish you a wonderful weekend. Sadie
Hi Linda---I can appreciate your wonderful quotes on "weathering the storm"--I've had a TERRIBLE week and am so glad I made it through to see a return to normal. I know bad times are kind of necessary so that we appreciate the rest of the times, but enough is enough-ha ha. Have a wonderful weekend
Thank you Linda, you have a special touch for putting together encouraging and relaxing posts! I always feel calmer after I visit here :) Thank you! Have a wonderful weekend!
I enjoyed seeing the friendship between the two goats, Marsha and Maurice. It was very touching. I also enjoyed the decorating video. Personally thought I find the artwork too low on the wall for me to sleep with. I used to have lots of colourful throw pillows but got rid of them because it's impractical. It looks great but too many pillows to deal with when going to sleep or fixing the bed. In a small space there is no where to store the extra pillows at night :-)
Both videos put a smile on my face, Linda! How fortunate that the little blind goat landed in such a welcoming home! There are those days when I do think, "I just can't win." But of course I am winning day after day. Part of the reason I fell into such a black spot was feeling slammed with turning 66. My friend Jim at Ocean Breezes said such thoughts are just "stories we tell ourselves." I'm trying to tell myself different stories now! Have a lovely weekend! Hugs, dear Linda!
A hugely resounding yes to the reminder that rainbows are often waiting for us on the other side. So often people forget this and only stair into a bleak, dark abyss of storm clouds. Envisioning that rainbow can often be the key to actually seeing it come to fruition and is a mindset I've long held and put into practise.
