Wonder Filled Weekend!
Hello everyone! A very warm welcome to you all! For the following, I am providing the link sources beneath each photo. You just need to click on the images to see a larger view. Sometimes like shakes you up to wake you up. Breathe and trust the process.
Good reminder about our cellphones and George is such a cute and loving cat. He is very curious too and wanted to play the guitar too! Have a happy weekend!
Hi Linda--we need a sign down the road for GEESE attacking, not deer. There's a Papa Goose that is VERY protective of his family. We've seen him attack cars and trucks. Needless to say , our morning walks are on a different route for a few weeks. Have a great weekend
Lake Excelsior outside of Minneapolis is a summer boarding station for Canadian geese. What a mess they make. Which is really a shame as they are such beautiful birds. The "Get the Flocke Out" was a funny video. But I really laughed at George the cat ... so typical - my cat's the same way - has to be in the middle of whatever I'm doing.
Good stuff from Karen Salmansohn, too. And thanks for your very nice comments yesterday! You are appreciated! Hope you have a wonderful weekend!
Hi, Linda! I'm home at last and love being able to visit your inspiring blog! I don't know which was cuter, the snugly cat or the goose herding border collies. There is nothing like a shakeup in life to remind you of what is important and how wonderful normal is. Have a lovely day, my special Montreal friend! Sending you big hugs!
Oh, if only people would heed that reminder about cell phones. But I think it's too late. Our culture has already changed. That cat video was too cute. And, since I live in Indiana, I enjoyed the geese police. I've heard of at least one housing addition in our town who keep a pair of border collies for the sole purpose of keeping geese from their pond.
Realmente damos demasiados usos a los celulares y les deberíamos dejar para unos pocos. Pense se te olvidaron los vídeos el gato muy simpático no se so le gustaba oír cantar a la dueña o todo lo contrario.
Thank you very much for the nice comment that you left on my blog (Something Sighted). Sadly I clicked the wrong thing and deleted it. :-( However I read it and appreciate it.
Happy Friday Linda... I agree with that first quote - Sometimes like shakes you up to wake you up. Breathe and trust the process.... although, I feel like it is more often then sometimes... at times xox
Good morning, wonderful quotes and images. I am thankful for the little things, one never knows what is in store for the future. Happy Saturday, have a happy weekend!
Some of your quotes are very thought provoking. For instance the first one. If we are not shaken up once in a while our life will become dull and monotonous and boring.
The second one is absolutely true. The cell phone is replacing friends and even families sometimes. We don't have time for others.
The third one. When we take life day by day we have less problems than when we start worrying about the future or live in the past regretting our mistakes.
Your cellphone has replaced your watch, camera, calendar and alarm clock. Don't let it replace your friends and family. That is just so true! I sometimes spend so long chatting to online friends I forget the ‘real ones I must do better! I loved today’s selection of video’s and sayings.
Oh Linda how right you are about cellphones, trains, restaurants, libraries nowhere is free of them, will we lose the art of face to face communication...
Thanks for the inspiring quotes Linda! And thanks for your kind words on my blog! Glad you visited. I liked the Antshyllvania clip and also the Geese Police!

ReplyDeleteGreetings from London.
the note about the cellphone should be spread a lot. :)
ReplyDeleteGood advice about phones Linda. There is so much ignorant behaviour attached to those things nowadays.
