Let's stop believing that our differences make us superior or inferior to one another.
Practice hitting the pause button. When angry, pause. When stressed out, pause. When tired, pause.
Be decisive. Make a decision. The road of life is paved with flat squirrels who couldn't make a decision.
Over-thinking ruins you. It ruins the situation. It twists things around. It makes you worry. It just makes everything worse than it actually is.
The life in front of you is far more important than the life behind you.
Things won't get better unless you think better.
You don't know when you're exhausted? You're fighting a war inside your head every single day. If that's not exhausting, I don't know what is.
When you love where you are, where you are loves you back.
When you wake up in the morning, remember what a blessing it is to breathe, laugh, sing, feel, play, smile and to love. To be alive.

The mountain coaster looks exciting. Going at a slow pace to enjoy the surroundings. I don't know whether I would like tomato smoothie. I like the hippo and turtle video. Animals relationship always amazes me.

ReplyDeleteHi Linda! I haven't tried tomato smoothie, but tomato juice. I have a cousin who drinks a lot of eat and his skin is so smooth and his cheeks are rosy (in a good sense). Plus, he has this really heathy glow.
ReplyDeleteCephalopods are excellent when it comes to camouflage. I've seen a video about it, but it showed an octopus instead.
I really agree about practice hitting the pause button especially if one is angry. Because sometimes one tends to say things when they are angry and it's not a wise thing to do.

ReplyDeleteAw. The sweet story about the baby hippo and the tortoise was touching. Hope they remained friends as the hippo grew. That cuttlefish was amazing. I loved the quote about the need to be decisive, especially the reference to the road of life. Made me smile.
ReplyDeleteThe quote about differences really speaks to me. There's far too much divisiveness in the world. People forget to focus on what we all have in common and instead look for ways to divide us from each other.

Hi, LInda! Thanks for visiting my little blog and leaving your sweetness there. I enjoy today's shares, and especially the blurb about our differences. I so appreciate the differences we all have - in beliefs, thought processes, appearances, abilities, knowledge - and wish we could truly not feel inferior or superior! I tend to go on inferior side, and am learning not to do that so much. It's easy to "judge" one way or the other without even knowing we are doing it, isn't it?

I heard in your area that many people living in newer subdivisions/housing developments, do not know enough to let a hose trickle over young tree roots so that they can grow roots deep enough over the years to withstand hardships. I sent some rain your way, but guess it did not make it all the way up - hoping you get some soon!
