Weekend Walk

Hello everyone!  A very warm welcome to you all! The videos I have chosen for this post are:

Les Nessman on Black Culture - WKRP in Cincinnati

The Golden Years - Leroy Anderson

Depressed Goat and His Donkey Friend

Horse and Cat are Best Friends

For the following, I am providing the link sources beneath each photo.  You just need to click on the images to see a larger view.

When things get difficult...just keep floating.

Make it a habit to be grateful for the smallest details of life.  These small details are so numerous that you can spend as much time as you want in a state of gratitude.  This gratitude opens to even more abundance. - Ralph S. Marston

No playing dice with squirrels.  They cheat.  :)

A person who feels appreciated will always do more than what is expected.

You have permission to rest.  You are not responsible for fixing everything that is broken.  You do not have to try and make everyone happy.  For now, take time for you.  It's time to replenish.

Do not educate your children to be rich.  Educate them to be happy.  So when they grow up they will know the value of things, not the price.

The greatest cruelty is our casual blindness to the despair of others. - Unknown

As I began to love myself more, my relationship with everyone changed.

Don't believe those who tell you they love you. Believe those who show you that they do.

Thank you all so much for visiting me here!  I always appreciate and enjoy reading your kind thoughts, which you are always welcome to share!

  14. I love animal best-friend stories! Makes you wonder why humans have such a hard time getting along. We used to watch WKRP on occasion and have just recently purchased the entire DVD set so we're going to see it again without commercials! Yea!

Re your comment on Ocala. Years ago we lived in Scottsdale, Arizona and I, along with 2 friends, decided to take a fishing trip to Guaymas, Mexico. We had found a Mexican restaurant in Phoenix that was very good - the food was just right, not to hot and not too bland. I figured that 300 miles into Mexico the food would be very spicy and hot. Surprise! It was exceedingly and disappointingly bland, blah ... well, you know what I mean. It was still good but not at all what I expected. One never knows! Have a great weekend!

  15. I love squirrels! If I didn't have a feral cat colony in my backyard, I'd probably be feeding the squirrels.

  29. "A person who feels appreciated will always do more than what is expected." How very true! But sometimes, people may take advantage of them - it takes all kinds to make the world.

    Saludos.
