Mid-Week Magic
Hello everyone! A very warm welcome to you all! The videos I have selected for this post are: An Art Exhibition for Dogs Opens in London
Lonely Street Cat Breaks into Car to Find Loving Home
The Ration Book's Story (100 years)
Beautiful Chinese Music - Ode to Coral Shanhu Song, Liu Ziling
Walk in Shower Ideas - Walk in Shower Designs (I love many of these, I like the idea of a bath and shower separate from each other)
For the following, I am providing the link sources beneath each photo. You just need to click on the images to see a larger view. You will never influence the world by trying to be like it. Toby Mac
Beware of destination addiction...a preoccupation with the idea that happiness is in the next place, the next job and with the next partner. Until you give up the idea that happiness is somewhere else, it will never be where you are. - Robert Holden
The street cat video made me cry go and cuddle my Theo ... that's kind of how I found him/ or rather he found me, friend Linda ... he has been with me for 4 years now ... is still so thankful, and so am I ... purrs and smiles ... Love, cat.
All dog owners will have to take their dog to the exhibition. Lol! That is one smart cat! She knows which car to break in. It would be great to have that bathroom in my house.
Hello Linda, I hope your week has been going well :D) I loved the story of Leo... what a persistent little fellow - to find such a kind owner, he really did well. Thanks for all your work in gathering these treats together for us. Cheerio now :D)
I would likes to have been able to look at the video of the walk in showers. That is all we have here at home, two walk in showers but no baths. Real friendships don't expire. - Oh so very true. Thanks for the Raphael Vavasseur Art, I never tire of his pictures and they always make me smile. Keep warm and dry, take care Diane
Cara Linda, spesso me ne accorgo che devo dedicare più tempo al tuo blog, sono tante le cose che ci fai vedere!!! Caio e buon pomeriggio cara amica con un forte abbraccio e un sorriso:-) Tomaso
Great videos and quotes, dear Linda! Yes, our pets love us unconditionally (if we don't treat them badly) and that of the quote is a very nice way to express it. :) Have a happy day! Hugs!!
Our kitties complement you on including Raphael's art. They like it a lot. They didn't think much of the dog art exhibition, but I thought it was terrific. As were Salmansohn's posters! We are fortunate to have a walk-in shower. It's not as big or ornate as this one, but I think one of the sports teams from Montreal could all shower at one time. :)
Hope you are experiencing Spring, as we are here in Michigan! Not as warm and green as Georgia (where I was last week), but the crocus are up and the lawn is littered with snowdrops. Love it!
Hi Linda! I love history, so the video on the coupon books was fascinating. Those showers too...wow! I wouldn't want to clean them, but they are spectacular. There were several inspirational quotes here I liked, especially the one about appreciating where I am right now. 'Now' is my word for the year, so it sure did speak to me. Tuesday blessings, Ceil
Hi Linda, lovely videos and inspirational quotes! Leo the cat in the second vide is so sweet. We have a walk-in shower in one of our bathrooms. I find I really like it! Have a great second half of the week.
Linda, Love the feral cat video! Food will win them over in time. We have a neighbor who has adopted a feral cat after months of feeding/taming it. From the looks of Leo, he's had some rough times on the street! I have a US WWII Ratio book. The US wasn't as smart as the Imperial War Museum but both the WWI and WWII museums here in the US are constantly seeking photos and especially letters sent from the front during the conflicts. Our walk in shower does have a door and our big whirlpool soaker tub never gets used. One requirement I have for a master bathroom is a separate enclosed toilet room. Take Care, Big Daddy Dave
Hi Linda! The videos were, as always, just wonderful! Dogs and cats, a little music, some history, & things we can dream about - doesn't get much better than that. Loved the quotes and the magical artwork, too. Thank you, Linda!
Another great post Linda! I forgot to tell you, in your last post, I drink a lot of that tea you mentioned! I love it! I forget the name of it now! LOL! The cat that broke into the car is so adorable! Big Hugs!
Lovely shares today, Linda! Each one so unique and the lessons learned are MANY. I like that quotes keep on helpings us grow, no matter how many times we read them, there is always more to take in, and keep on growing.
I especially like the one about not being like the world so that we can contribute to the world. I never thought of it exactly like that - and it is so enlivening!
I also cracked up over the frog - kissing frogs but not necessary to kiss dogs and pigs LOL Very cute! There certainly are limits to everything, aren't there!
Thanks again, Linda! wishing you a great week-end. hugs, de
Me gustaron mucho los vídeos del gato callejero el cual parece supo escoger coche, el de la música china y sobre las cartillas de racionamiento en una ocasión encontramos unas en el archivo municipal de mi localidad.
Such inspiration in your collection of videos and quotes and artwork, today, as always. I especially liked Robert Holden's words, as I am finding them to be spot on, the older I get. Thanks for sharing and have a wonderful weekend!
Hello Linda!!! Oh my goodness, that little kitty that found his forever home! That is so touching. That kitty reminds me of one of ours named Monkey, who one of our daughters rescued one dark night. The little kitten cut across a watery ditch to come to her and he still loves water. Sometimes I call him Uncle Chris from the old movie, 'I Remember Mama'. He is a sweetie just like that kitty. : ) Great, great video!
Love the animal museum! That is so cute! Really great. There is a cat cafe opening in Midtown here, people can eat and have coffee and enjoy petting kitties for adoption, kind of a pet museum in reverse!
I like that quote about not entering into the culture, it is so true. It's too bad many of the churches don't get that truth.
I enjoyed my visit here very much as usual! : ) Blessings!
"Be gentle with others." This is my mantra, and the older I get, the better I understand what others are dealing with. A good quote to live by! Happy Saturday, my dear friend!

ReplyDeleteI am going ooh and aah over the walk-in showers. How wonderful and therapeutic to have one of these at home!
ReplyDeleteThese are wise words I love from this post:
We're all healing from something. Please be gentle with others. You never know if you're hitting a wound.
Thank you for sharing, Linda xx
