Weekend Walk and Higgins and Burke Teas
Hello everyone! A very warm welcome to you all! I am not sure if any of you have ever tried Higgins and Burke Naturals Facebook page teas, but I have to say that I am totally hooked on them! The packaging is quite attractive, for one thing, but the teas are absolutely amazing! Most of you know how much I love tea, and today I am talking about the Lush Berry flavour, which is caffeine free. As soon as I opened the box, I could smell the luscious aroma of berries! Each tea bag is individually wrapped, and you can see and smell the lovely fragrance! Absolutely delicious! I highly recommend these teas, if you haven't tried them yet. :) Higgins and Burke website The videos I have selected for this post are: Homeless Man Given New Life by Facebook Family
Supermarket Interior (1960-1969)
The Cat and the Fawn
Clouds and Soothing Synth
For the following, I am providing the link sources beneath each photo. You just need to click on the images to see a larger view.
Make it a habit to be grateful for the smallest details of life. These small details are so numerous that you can spend as much time as you want in a state of gratitude. This gratitude opens to even more of abundance. - Ralph S. Marston
Ha! Love the "fruit flies." The video of the cat and the fawn is amazing. How could that little fawn stay so still with a human filming it and a cat pawing it?
I have never heard of these tea bags, but they must be really great :) I love the saying about being busy. I can't stand it if people keep saying they are too busy for this and that. It is about making time for this and that. And indeed most people listen to reply. Have a good weekend
Good Morning Linda!:) Super cute video of the cat and fawn,...the cat was curios but so gentle, and the instinctively the fawn kept very still. The baby monkey clip was also sweet. Have a lovely day Linda, and thank you for all the meaningful quotes.x
Great video of the friendly cat and the fawn. I like this quote - The biggest communication problem is we do not listen to understand. We listen to reply.
Videos were so different, but all so enjoyable. Loved all the quotes, too, especially the one about communication. Your blog is the perfect way to end (& begin) my week, Linda. Appreciate you!
Hi Linda, thanks for posting all the wonderful videos and quotes. I remember supermarkets looking like that when I was a kid. Glad to see at the end of the cat and fawn video that the mother rejoined it at sunset. Have a good weekend! Robin
I love the cat and the fawn video. Also Victor's story was very touching. People cared and made a difference in his life. there's a nice message in that. The quotes are uplifting too. Thanks for posting positive messages, the world needs them.
Hello Linda, thank you for posting all these wonderful videos and quotes! The video of the cat and the fawn was very interesting. Have a happy and sunny weekend! xx
Hi there Linda, lovely to catch up with you once more. Oh yes, I know just what you mean about that lovely fruity aroma from teas such as you describe. My favourite at the moment is lemon and ginger, I have two bags at the one time and call it my "double shot" lol! I really enjoyed The homeless man, the cat and the fawn and the soothing synth videos (I must check out a longer version of the last one... appreciate you showing us that one especially). I had a chuckle at some of the funny quotations as well as the uplifting ones. Thank you so much Linda, your spot is always so lovely :D)
The video of the cat and the fawn was so sweet! I had to show my daughter, who adores cats. Of all the quotes, I like, 'The biggest communication problem is we do not listen to understand. We listen to reply.'. Finding this to be so true, sometimes, which is a real shame. Listening, is a skill, and when learned and practiced, can lead to great progress in communication.
Thought provoking and/or smile-bringing collection Linda. I like those Pea-doodles. I enjoy wordplay and it's funny to make word play into pictures like that.
i love miracles whether they arrive big or small ...stopping in , waving hello - ...it's been too long since I've come by. I enjoyed all the quotes today.
Linda, My wife is the tea drinker in this house and I'll tell her about Higgins & Burke Teas. Nice story about the homeless man! The biggest changes in the supermarket today are checkout and the 'convenience foods' in the rows of coolers and freezers! As for that fawn, his momma told him to stay there not to move...and he was very obedient! Take Care, Big Daddy Dave
LOL at Pi in the sky. I worked at a grocery store in high school in the mid-70s, but seems somewhat familiar and those open freezers had to cost a fortune to run!
Hello Linda! Great video on the precious homeless man. That is so great that there were those who cared enough to help. There are so many stories in people, so many gifts.
The tea sounds nice! I'll have to check into that, we like both coffee and tea at our house. My youngest daughter especially loves tea!
Great quotes, I like the one on being a good listener.
Some fabulous sayings here today, very hard to choose which of them is the best but I think I have to go with "My dear friend, clear your mind of can't".. It is a word I refuse to have in my dictionary!! As for the teas wish we had them here. We both only drink herbal tea, neither of us likes ordinary tea. Yours sound delish. Have a fab Sunday, Diane
Clear your mind of...can't! Such good advice. It's going to be my mantra of choice for this coming week. I have a lot I want to accomplish in the next 7 days.😊
Thank you for spreading so much good energy via your blog!🌷
It's been "ages" since I've been by as I lost a bunch of my blog subscriptions and we've had computer issues a lot but all if fixed now. Good to be back. Loved that Cat/Fawn video.
Hi Linda. The cat and the fawn video is quite captivating. The poor little cat has found a new plaything that doesn't want to join in - very amusing. Thanks for finding that gem.
Hallo dearest Linda, there are so many wonderful and inspiring videos and quotes again - and so sweet "The Cat and the Fawn" - thank you! Lots of hugs, Traude
Linda, as usual, you have done a splendid job of curating these entries. The videos were all very entertaining, and the posters contain great words of wisdom. The instinct of the fawn to remain immobile certainly protects its life.
Hi Linda! I also listened to the Clouds video, and it gave me such a lovely 'ahh' moment on my Sunday afternoon. Thank you! The image/quote about the sun and the moon really resonated with me too. We all shine in our ways, and in our own time. A great reminder of that! Blessings, Ceil
The biggest communication problem is we do not listen to understand. We listen to reply. <-- Sometimes people don't need our advice. They just need a shoulder to cry on. I love this quote.
I love tea, Linda. Thank you for suggesting another wonderful brand for me to try. :D

The cat and fawn are adorable. I know young deer don't have a smell, so from time to time their mothers leave them in long grass.
