Weekend Wonders
Hello everyone! A very warm welcome to you all! The videos I have selected for this post are: Barry the Bush Baby
Baboon Adopts A Bushbaby
Latest in Dancing (1962)
Tullamore Dew Song - Smooth by Nature
For the following, I am providing the link sources beneath each photo. You just need to click on the images to see a larger view. Brrrrr....stone cold. :)
At age 20 we worry about what others think of us. At age 40 we don't care what they think of us. At age 60 we discover they haven't been thinking of us at all. - Ann Landers
Wonderful quotes, as always, and after watching the "Latest in Dancing" I must find and listen "Locomotion". One of the greatest songs ever. :) Happy weekend, dear Linda! Hugs!
Hi, Linda. Good stuff today, as usual. Loved all the Peadoodles. Too cute. And the one about technology connecting the world and disconnecting humans was so true.
Hello Linda ... I just can't believe it's Friday, the week goes by so quickly. I do like all of your selections, especially the 'Peadoodles' and the quote "Technology has connected the world and disconnected all humans."
Technology can be an absolute boon and big help, but the human touch is very special ...
Enjoy the rest of Friday and have a good weekend too.
Linda, Bush babies are certainly cute. I'm not so sure about them as pets though. Locally, we could buy one at the Flea Market...Yikes! As for the dances, I remember when the locomotion and the bossa nova came around but I don't remember the others. Fact is, I have Zero rhythm and I'm a lousy dancer... Much to my wife's dismay, even just the 3-step is awkward. Take Care, Big Daddy Dave
Thank you Linda! Hope you have a great weekend! I want a bush baby! LOL! So cute! Love the dancing! Those cartoon quotes are adorable! Thanks for being you! Big Hugs!
Lovely videos ( the bush baby enjoying a scratch, the latest dancing) and amazing quotes, especially the one on technology connecting the world but disconnecting humans.
That Bush Baby reminds me of our cats...I'm going to have to Google it to learn more. Cute videos! And I love the many charts, both the fun ones and the serious ones. I'm past 60 so I guess I can stop worrying about what people think of me. I'd add that at about 80 you no longer give a damn what anybody thinks! Heh, heh.
Hello Linda! Yes! Everyone should have a heart like a dog, it's so true. : ) And everyone should know that dirt is fairy dust too! lol I will have to remember that one!
The locomotion and dances are so cute, what a different time! Very cute video. And the little adopted friend, aw, animals make such good friends and mommies as well.
Good morning Linda!:) One of my pleasures is listening to the morning, another is visiting you.:) I so enjoyed the adorable Bush Baby videos, and all the quotes, especially the one about if people had hearts like dogs, and the Higher Perspective one,.. and the peadoodles are funny too, ... ha ha, the bread winner is so cute. Have a blessed Sunday Linda.x
Happy Monday Linda... I have always liked Ann Landers... she gave pretty good advice, this one being spot on: At age 20 we worry about what others think of us. At age 40 we don't care what they think of us. At age 60 we discover they haven't been thinking of us at all. - Ann Landers
Too bad it takes us so long to learn this...
I am sorry to hear you have physical issues... they are not easy to deal with... I am finding that out more and more daily xox
Technology has connected the world and disconnected all humans. --> This is sadly true. I try to meet friends and family as often as I can instead of catching up with them via a whatsapp chat group.
