Mid-Week Serenade
Hello everyone! A very warm welcome to you all! The videos I have selected for this post are: Otter Jumps on Kayak to Say 'Hello'
8 Year Old Violinist Excels Beyond Measure Despite Hand Disability
Jackson Galaxy's Trying to Help this Man get Over his Fear of Cats
Relaxing Fountain Flow in Nature - Bologna, Italy Zenitude Experience
For the following, I am providing the link sources beneath each photo. You just need to click on the images to see a larger view. The ironic thing about loss is that it stays.
Sometimes you have to cha-cha your way to change. 3 steps forward. 1 step backwards. 10 steps forward. 3 steps backwards. Forgive yourself for slow progress. Keep moving. You'll get there.
I invite you to slip off your old, worn out, familiar bad habits - which never really fit who you truly are - and slip into something new, and far more fabulous.
Every challenging experience we face in life hands us a two sided coin of choice and opportunity. We can use that experience as a reason to build us or bury us. If we learn to live with whatever life hands us, and transform it into something of value, we will become a better person because of the lessons learned. - Denise Bruna
When we love, we always strive to become better than we are. When we strive to become better than we are, everything around us becomes better too. - Paulo Coelho
Good morning Linda!:)Your post was a great way to start my day, with inspiring true stories and quotes. I got hooked on a lot of the animal videos, and saw the eight year old little girl video twice, what a spirited and accomplished little girl she is. Thank you Linda, as always I enjoyed my visit. Enjoy the rest of your week!:)x
Hello Linda and Happy Wednesday - don't the weeks go quickly! Love your video choices and the music on the Bologna video was so soothing.
Thought these words can be quite apt at times "Sometimes you have to cha-cha your way to change. 3 steps forward. 1 step backwards. 10 steps forward. 3 steps backwards. Forgive yourself for slow progress. Keep moving. You'll get there."
This one is my favourite today: The best feeling of happiness is when you're happy because you've made someone else happy...and the one by Patrul Rinpoche too.
Jackson Galaxy's episode reminds me of a man I once worked with. I had discovered a feral cat in the company parking lot, and began to feed the cat, and spent a great deal of time on the edges of the grounds, which were wooded, but backed up to a subdivision. One day, while talking to my coworker in the far parking lot, an unknown cat came streaking by, and my friend simply jumped off his feet and into his car! I laughed and laughed...and am smiling as I type this. He could talk a good game, but when confronted with a real live cat, he freaked! LOL!
Linda, I love otters and love to watch them in the wild or even zoos. They are wild though and they have a formidable set of teeth so I'm not sure I'd fully trust one in my kayak climbing around on me... Niki and her 'disability' are a great example of what children can accomplish if they are properly nurtured! Fear of cats...not something I see too often. Dislike, yes but not outright fear. Jackson, like Caesar Milan with dogs, always does a fine job of conditioning his humans. Take Care, Big Daddy Dave
Hi Linda, thanks for checking on me. My internet went out suddenly and I couldn't get it back for days. "They" kept telling me it was fixed but it wasn't and I still can't get on my new blog so I'm back posting on Ocala. Hope that all goes well with you. Lots of good stuff here. I can't imagine someone being afraid of cats. Must have had a bad experience with cats when he was a child.
The little girl playing the violin was my favorite. I can't imagine being afraid of cats but I guess some people are. Some fantastic quotes too Linda. Have a wonderful day!
Isn't that otter something? And what a marvelous little girl in the second video. Thank you, Linda, for all the delightful reminders and thoughts in today's midweek post! Wishing you a great week! xx
Another great selection. The otter was so cute and the little girl amazingly talented. I feel for people with phobias and found the cat video very interesting. The fountain was lovely also, and those wise words? Always enjoy them. Thank you once again and have a wonderful day.
Fabulous selection, how I wish I could watch the videos :-( "Sorry! Out getting my halo repaired! It could be a while. :)" made me laugh, so funny. Hope that all is well with you. Take care Diiane
How do you do it, Linda? You consistently find videos and quotes to lift people up and inspire them! Thank you for another great post, my special Montreal friend! Sending you hugs and love!
